It appears that top Australian off-roader Daniel Milner will be racing full-time in the United States in 2015 if all things go as planned, riding a Yamaha for Randy Hawkins’ Am Pro Yamaha team.

We talked to Randy Hawkins and he confirmed that he is indeed in negotiations with Milner but things have yet to be finalized.

In addition to select international events, Milner will concentrate on the 2015 Kenda AMA National Enduro Series as well as the Grand National Cross Country Series.

Milner made international news last year when he won the Enduro 2 class at last year’s ISDE in Sardinia. The Yamaha rider was also the Australian Off-Road Champion in 2013.

“Australia has long produced successful off-road racers and Daniel comes to the Am Pro Yamaha team as well credentialed as any other rider in the past,” Hawkins said in a story posted on the Australian website Motoonline.com. “He is obviously a talented and determined rider and during our discussions, I believe he will enjoy the challenge of racing here and be very successful at it.

“Yamaha US and Am Pro are excited to have Daniel as part of our team in 2015 and we believe with our help he will be a contender to win the NEPGA and GNCC championships in his first year.”

Milner will make his first appearance in the United States the final two rounds of the 2014 GNCC championship.
