Team Yamaha’s Chad Reed and Monster/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki’s Grant Langston were the fastest today during timed practice for round 13 of the AMA THQ Supercross Series at the Silver Dome in Pontiac, Michigan.

Practice for the 250cc class went smooth and no one took any major tumbles. While Team Kawasaki’s James Stewart was the quickest in the first session Reed stepped it up in the second. He clocked a best time of 46.934 seconds to Team Makita Suzuki’s Ricky Carmichael’s quickest time of 47.177 seconds. Stewart was third with a time of 47.521 seconds.

The 125cc class had the most drama. Team Red Bull KTM’s Josh Hansen had a nasty fall in the first session. He knocked the wind out of himself and got up. In the second outing Team Makita Suzuki’s Davi Millsaps clipped a tuff block and went down in the whoops. He remounted to finish the practice. When the dust cleared Langston had the fastest time of 47.987 seconds. Boost Mobile Yamaha of Troy’s Broc Sellards was second quickest with a time of 48.138 seconds and Langston’s teammate Matt Walker was third, clocking a time of 48.317 seconds. Millsaps turned in a 48.704 second lap time, while Hansen did a 48.921 second lap. Both were outside the top-five.
