Roma Out Of Dakar Rally

Nani Roma suffered a crash this morning at km 130 of stage nine of the Dakar Rally, the crash forcing him to pull out of the race, according to his team.

The rider’s injuries are not serious and he has been taken to the Sabha camp on a helicopter, according to the information received from the race organization.

Roma hit his head and has pain in his back and several contusions, but after the first medical check the doctors could confirm that he has neither fractures nor serious injuries, the team says.
