Dakar Rally: Stage 7

KTM’s Richard Sainct won today’s seventh stage of the Dakar Rally, a 428-mile stage from Ghadames to Ghat with 362 of those miles comprising a special stage.

Sainct ended up topping fellow KTM rider Fabrizio Meoni by a minute and a half, with Nani Roma, who had tire troubles, Cyril Despres and Alfie Cox filling the top five today.

The order is the same in the overall standings, with Sainct leading Meoni by one minute, 47 seconds. Roma, Despres and Cox round out the top five. All are KTM mounted.
