Motocross photographer and journalist Rob Koy recently passed away in his home state of Florida. For many years, you have seen his excellent work in this publication and several others, covering races across the country, primarily in Florida, including the Florida Winter Mini Olympics, aka Mini O’s.
Rob’s wife, Jane, posted, “It takes strength to wake up each day knowing the road ahead will be difficult and still choose to love and be there for the people that matter. It takes courage to carry fear without allowing it to define you. It takes an incredible heart to suffer privately so others don’t have to carry that burden with you. On September 7, 2026, Rob lost his battle with ALS. He was determined after his diagnosis to live life to the fullest, and he accomplished his goal. My heart is breaking, and I will love you forever.”
