Cameron McAdoo’s entry for the 2026 Boost Mobile AUSX Supercross Championship has been confirmed. The American racer is expected to join the Quad Lock Honda team in the SX2 division before competing under their tent in the 2027 SuperMotocross Championship, although specifics have yet to be formally acknowledged (likely to come on October 1). McAdoo’s previous experience in Australia includes a win at the 2018 AUS-X Open.
“It was a tough year, the sport can be brutal, one minute I am finishing second in San Deigo to the eventual champion, achieving several podiums, and the next minute I am dealing with injuries,” McAdoo said. “It was good to come back and slowing build during the SMX Play-offs and finish the way we did, I know the speed is there. I’m really excited to be heading back to Australia, I have the fondest memories. The last time I raced there was the AUS-X Open in 2018 and we got the win, so I’ve got great memories of racing down there. The Championship has grown massively since I was last there and the level of riders coming in this year is impressive. I’m ready to get down there, get to work with the team and go racing.”
McAdoo will complete the five-round AUSX championship, alongside fellow Americans Christian Craig and Joey Savatgy who both race in SX1. The series kicks off in Townsville at the Queensland Country Bank Stadium this Saturday, October third.
