Pickerington, OH (September 30, 2026) — The American Motorcycle Heritage Foundation (AMHF) — located in Pickerington, Ohio, in Fairfield County — received a grant of $14,500 from the Fairfield County Foundation to help fund efforts to build the Motorcycle Rider Safety and Community Support Building on the organization’s campus in Pickerington, Ohio.

This grant from the Fairfield County Foundation will cover 50 percent of the costs for this new building on the AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame’s campus, with funds coming from the George and Dollie L. Zimpfer Memorial Fund, which is an unrestricted fund designed to support community projects, local food pantries, and youth programs in Lancaster and Fairfield County in Ohio.

“We’re grateful to the Fairfield County Foundation and to our local community that has embraced the AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame,” AMHF President and AMA President and CEO Rob Dingman said. “This grant reflects the kind of local partnership that makes our work possible, and we appreciate their support in constructing a facility that will welcome guests to the AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame campus and create a better events experience for riders in Fairfield County and beyond.”

With construction planned to be completed by early 2027, the Motorcycle Rider Safety and Community Support Building will be a multi-purpose structure centered on storage of safety equipment and event supplies, as well as containing a dedicated office area that will support event registration, concessions, volunteer coordination, emergency response documentation and other operational activities during public events.

This building will further improve the AMHF’s ability to host public events for residents of Fairfield County and beyond, as well as expanding opportunities for rider education, preserving and promoting motorcycle heritage and strengthening community engagement.
