Friday MotoGP
Marco Bezzecchi and Aprilia Racing stole the spotlight on an electric Friday at the Aragon Grand Prix, the Italian topping the afternoon Practice session as the lap record fell three times in a frantic final 15 minutes at MotorLand Aragon.
Bezzecchi’s best lap of 1:45.455 edged Alex Marquez (BK8 Gresini Racing MotoGP) by 0.025 seconds, with Marc Marquez (Ducati Lenovo Team) another 0.013 seconds behind after the Spaniard had led much of the session at one of his strongest circuits.
Marc Marquez appeared firmly in control before the late time attacks began. Fermin Aldeguer (BK8 Gresini Racing MotoGP) briefly moved to the top before Jorge Martin (Aprilia Racing), Bezzecchi and Pedro Acosta (Red Bull KTM Factory Racing) joined the battle.
With five minutes remaining, Marc Marquez smashed his own lap record with a 1:45.493, but his advantage lasted only briefly. Bezzecchi responded with a 1:45.455 to take over at the top, before Alex Marquez split the pair on his final attempt. Despite beating his older brother, Alex fell just short of Bezzecchi’s benchmark.
Fabio Di Giannantonio (Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team) finished fourth despite crashing in FP1, ahead of Aldeguer and Raul Fernandez (SuperFile Trackhouse MotoGP Team). Martin, who had briefly climbed as high as second, ended the day seventh, followed by Acosta and Franco Morbidelli (Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team).
Johann Zarco (LCR Honda CASTROL) completed the top 10, securing direct entry into Saturday’s Q2 on his return to action following a three-month layoff.
Diogo Moreira (Pro Honda LCR) narrowly missed the cut in 11th, just 0.010 seconds behind Zarco. Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati Lenovo Team) made a mistake on his final flying lap and finished 13th, one position ahead of Fabio Quartararo (Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP), the leading Yamaha rider.

Friday Moto2
Ivan Ortola (QJMOTOR – Reverte – MSI) set a new Moto2 lap record to lead Friday practice at MotorLand Aragon, the in-form Spaniard clocking a 1:49.791 to edge Daniel Holgado (CFMOTO Inde Aspar Team) by 0.058 seconds.
Senna Agius (Liqui Moly Dynavolt Intact GP) completed the top three, the Australian the only other rider to finish within four tenths of Ortola’s pace. Alonso Lopez (ITALJET Gresini Moto2) and Celestino Vietti (Folladore SpeedRS Team) completed the top five, with Vietti producing a late lap to secure direct passage to Q2.
Championship leader Manuel Gonzalez (Liqui Moly Dynavolt Intact GP) was sixth, while his closest title rival, Izan Guevara (BLU CRU Pramac Yamaha Moto2), completed the top 10.
Silverstone winner Filip Salač (OnlyFans American Racing Team) endured a quieter day in 15th, with CFMOTO Inde Aspar Team’s David Alonso only 18th.

Friday Moto3
David Almansa (LIQUI MOLY Dynavolt Intact GP) topped Friday’s Moto3 practice at MotorLand Aragon, the Spaniard setting a 1:57.473 to lead the way on the opening day of the Aragon Grand Prix.
Almansa’s best lap came while riding alone and put him 0.079 seconds clear of Rico Salmela (Red Bull KTM Tech3), who enjoyed his strongest session of the season to date. Teammate Valentin Perrone completed the top three after maintaining competitive pace throughout the session.
Adrian Fernandez (Leopard Racing) led the Honda contingent in fourth, ahead of Alvaro Carpe (Red Bull KTM Ajo) and Casey O’Gorman (SIC58 Squadra Corse). Rookie Jesus Rios (Rivacold Snipers Team) was seventh, while championship leader Maximo Quiles (CFMOTO Viel Aspar Team) returned from his British Grand Prix collarbone injury in eighth.
Scott Ogden (CIP GreenPower) missed a Q2 berth by just 0.010 seconds, while Cormac Buchanan (CODE Motorsports) crashed heavily at the final corner but escaped injury.
