Mikkel Haarup, of the 5.11 Triumph Racing Factory Team, says he’ll be ready to compete at this weekend’s Washougal Pro Motocross after suffering a broken nose at the Spring Creek round on July 18.

The Dane, who has been turning heads in the AMA Pro Motocross Championship, fell in the first moto and was assisted off the track. He made it to the start line for the second moto but didn’t make it to the finish line, having suffered a mechanical DNF.
Despite the injury, Haarup says he’ll be good to go at Washougal. “This was not the weekend that we wanted,” he said after the Spring Creek race. “I had a decent lap time in qualification and lined up for 11th in moto one. I started in the top seven but got cross-rutted and went down. I was hit pretty hard and ended up with a broken nose. I’m healthy and ready for Washougal, though.” CN
