The 2026 Donner Hard Enduro returns to Norden, California, for the sixth year as round five of the AMA West Hard Enduro Series, presented by Bullet Proof Designs.
Settled at a base elevation of 7031 feet and overlooking Truckee, the Donner Ski Ranch is one of the most unique venues on the U.S. Hard Enduro circuit. The Donner Hard Enduro will be part of the multi-disciplinary weekend, the Donner Challenge, where promoter Brian Garrahan hosts D36 Hare Scrambles, AMA Hard Enduro and Motoclimb in an action-packed three-day weekend. This year, the hard enduro course will be split among the four class groups, offering an improved racer experience and lessening the traffic each day. Racers will ride through pine forests, creeks, long ski runs, downed timber, lava rock fields and plenty of the famous granite slabs that make the Donner Hard Enduro special.

Approx. 10 a.m. — Pro Qualifier at Motoclimb
1 p.m. to 5 p.m. — B & C Main Race. 8 miles long. Splits for B & C. Top 25 Overall B Class move onto Saturday’s Pro/A race.
6 p.m. — B & C Awards Ceremony
Saturday — 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. Racer check-in
1:30 p.m. — to 5:30 p.m.: Pro & A Main Race. 8 miles long. Splits for Pro & A.
6:30 p.m. — Pro & A Awards Ceremony
Note: D36 California Motoclimb Series racing is on Friday. D36 Hare Scrambles races are Sat/Sun.
