WorldSBK Race Two
Nicolo Bulega (Aruba. It Racing – Ducati) secured what seems like a routine race win in the final Most race to make it three Czech victories this weekend, 15 for the 2026 season and 19 in succession if you count last year as well.
In a repeat of the two previous Most podium finishing orders, Bulega won from his team-mate Iker Lecuona and then the suddenly consistently rapid Yari Montella (Barni Spark Racing Team).

Lorenzo Baldassarri (Team GoEleven Ducati) was fourth, but the battle behind for fifth place was consistently excellent.
Garrett Gerloff (Kawasaki WorldSBK Team) finally took another top five finish, despite some big slides and losing two places in one go not far from the finish.
He fought back quickly and won his personal fight with Alberto Surra (Motocorsa Racing Ducati), by a couple of tenths, with bimota by Kawasaki Racing Team riders Alex Lowes and Axel Bassani finishing close behind Surra, in seventh and eighth places, respectively.
Some 26 seconds behind the race winner, Andrea Locatelli (Pata Maxus Yamaha) was ninth, and top Yamaha rider, having passed privateer Tommy Bridewell (Superbike Advocates Ducati) late on. A great ride from Tarran Mackenzie (MGM Optical Express Racing) saw him battling with Gerloff and others, and holding a defiant sixth place at times, but he was to ultimately fall near the end and retire.
Bulega’s championship advantage over his team-mate Lecuona has grown to 95 points now, 310 points to 215. Montella is third now with 121, with Baldassarri on 107, Sam Lowes on 103 and Alex Lowes on 101.

WorldSSP Race Two
There was a bit too much Race Two action going on for some of the top riders in the wide-open WorldSSP Championship, with the entire top-of-the-table dynamic taking a step back into a wider field of possibilities as a result.
Early on there was crash for Albert Arenas (AS Racing Yamaha) after a
contact with – of course – his number one challenger, Jaume Masia (Orelac Racing Verdnatura).

Masia was punished with a long lap penalty for his mistake but he too would fall and no score later on.
Valentin Debise (ZXMOTO Factory Evan Bros Racing) was the rider who capitalised most effectively to take his second race win of the weekend, but only after an epic scrap with the resurgent Can Öncü (Pata Yamaha Ten Kate Racing).
Tom Booth-Amos (Triumph Factory Racing) was on his way to third until he crashed out on the very last lap, eventually finishing 16th and missing out on even a single point.
This could have allowed another last lap faller, Lucas Mahias (GMT94-YAMAHA), a podium finish, but the battling Aussie that is Oli Bayliss (Triumph Factory Racing) won a late fight with Aldi Satya Mahendra (AS Racing Yamaha) and Matteo Ferrari (WRP Racing Ducati) to take third.
Sixth place went to top Kawasaki rider, Jeremy Alcoba (Kawasaki WorldSSP Team) but he was only just ahead of Alessandro Zaccone (Ecosantagata Althea Racing Team).
Philipp Öttl (Feel Racing WorldSSP Team Ducati) was eighth, Filippo Farioli (VFT Racing Team Yamaha) ninth and the second ZXMOTO machine of Federico Caricasulo took him to tenth place.
In the championship things closed up a lot, with Arenas on 166 points, Debise is now second with 147 and Masia third with 130. Öncü is also closer now, with 128 – meaning 38 points cover the top four, in which three different types of machine now feature.

WorldSPB Race Two
A potential six-rider fight for the Race Two podium places ended up in a four-way scrap right at the end, after Kas Beekmans (VLR Racing Team Suzuki) lost the front and took out Xavi Artigas (MTM Kawasaki) at T1 on the final lap.
There had already been a big first lap melee which caused Loris Veneman (MTM Kawasaki) and Jeffrey Buis (Track & Trades Wixx Racing Suzuki) to exit the race before it got really started.

At the end of the 12 laps, Antonio Torres (ProDina Kawasaki) posted the race win 0.126 seconds ahead of Bruno Ieraci (CM Triumph Factory Racing) and almost half a second ahead of his own team-mate David Salvador (ProDina Kawasaki).
Race One Most winner, Matteo Vannucci (Revo-M2 Aprilia) lost contact with the leading group near the end, but made up almost a second on the final lap to finish fourth, and only 0.7 seconds behind the Race Two top man Torres.
Despite having to take a double long-lap penalty Carter Thompson (Team BrCorse Yamaha) was the top Yamaha rider in fifth place, 3.766 seconds away from the win.
Harrison Dessoy (PHR Performance Triumph) was sixth, Felix Mulya (Progp Niti Racing Yamaha) seventh, and a strongly recovering Alvaro Fuertes (Deza-Box 77 Racing Team) went from 18th to eighth. Fuertes’ team-mate Jose Osuna placed ninth – from 17th on the grid – and was the last rider in the second group home.
Ferre Fleerackers (Track & Trades Wixx Racing Suzuki) secured tenth position. Ten riders in all failed to finish the Sunday race.
In the championship points, after three rounds and six races, Salvador leads with 101 points, Torres is second with 91 and no-scorer Buis is third with 84.
Taiyo Aksu (PATA AG Motorsport Yamaha) finished 15th and scored a championship point.

WorldSBK Superpole Race
Nicolo Bulega (Aruba. It Racing – Ducati) survived a first corner scare to head off into the lead of the ten-lap Superpole race, which he won by ??? From Race One runner-up, Iker Lecuona (Aruba. It Racing – Ducati). Bulega set a new lap record of 1’29.920 on lap three, as he headed off to his 14th win of the season.
Third place was again taken by Yari Montella (Barni Spark Racing Team) who escaped the clutches of all but eventual fourth placed rider, Lorenzo Baldassarri (Team GoEleven Ducati).

Alberto Surra (Motocorsa Racing Ducati) managed to keep the closely following Garrett Gerloff (Kawasaki WorldSBK Team) just behind across the line for fifth, with Tarran Mackenzie (MGM Optical Express Racing) seventh.
Another former BSB champion, Tommy Bridewell (Superbike Advocates Ducati), scored two points for tenth place, while Alex Lowes (bimota by Kawasaki Racing Team) took the last point on offer.
Tenth was BMW stand-in rider, Michael van Der Mark.
Sam Lowes (ELF Marc VDS Racing Team Ducati) fell after running very wide on the exit of a messy first corner of the first lap, as Axel Bassani (bimota by Kawasaki Racing Team) and Xavi Vierge (Pata Maxus Yamaha) both ran on, only for Vierge to crash out later in the race.
One WorldSBK race remains at Most, to be held over 22-laps.

WorldSBK Race One
A 17th consecutive WorldSBK race win, making it 13 in a row for the 2026 season, saw Nicolo Bulega (Aruba. It Racing – Ducati) once more untouchable. There was a real fight from his team-mate Iker Lecuona, who led for some laps, but in the final stages of the race Bulega had just too much pace and won by 1.3 seconds.
The race was finally run over 21 laps after a heavy crash for Danilo Petrucci (ROKiT BMW Motorrad WorldSBK Team) brought out a red flag. A quick restart procedure saw the race length reduced by one lap.
Yari Montella (Barni Spark Racing Team) was great value for his third place, albeit 11 seconds from the winner after a lonely ride.

Behind the podium trio, the astoundingly strong showing of Garrett Gerloff (Kawasaki WorldSBK Team) continued with a remarkable fourth place keeping the hard-charging Axel Bassani (bimota by Kawasaki Racing Team) just behind him. Lorenzo Baldassarri (Team GoEleven Ducati) was himself close behind the bimota rider, but finally in sixth place.
Having started 15th on the grid, a seventh place for Alex Lowes (bimota by Kawasaki Racing Team) was a strong performance, taking seventh away from Andrea Locatelli (Pata Maxus Yamaha) near the end.
After an incident between eventual ninth place finisher Alberto Surra (Motocorsa Racing Ducati) and Sam Lowes (ELF Marc VDS Racing Team Ducati) caused the English rider to crash, Surra was penalised with a long lap delay and lost several places as a result, finishing ninth.
Tenth was Stefano Manzi (GYTR GRT Yamaha WorldSBK Team).
The ten lap Superpole Race and Race Two will be run on Sunday at Most, to finish off the WorldSBK action.

Valentin Debise (ZXMOTO Factory Evan Bros Racing) came from a penalised sixth place in Superpole qualifying to the opening race win at Most, passing the pole-sitter Can Öncü (Pata Yamaha Ten Kate Racing) and easing out a small but significant advantage of 0.639 seconds after 19 laps. This was Debise’s fourth race win of 2026 on the new Chinese WorldSSP entry.
Öncü battled all the way and kept championship leader Albert Arenas (AS Racing Yamaha) behind him at the end, with the top three covered by 0.877 seconds.

Jaume Masia (Orelac Racing Verdnatura) fought his way up from 11th to fourth place, with veteran campaigner Lucas Mahias (GMT94-YAMAHA) the last rider in a loose top five group.
Oli Bayliss (Triumph Factory Racing) was a strong sixth, only losing ground in pursuit of the leading bunch near the end, but still finishing 2.4 seconds up on seventh placed rider, Matteo Ferrari (WRP Racing Ducati).
Filippo Farioli (VFT Racing Team Yamaha), Philipp Öttl (Feel Racing WorldSSP Team Ducati) and Simon Jespersen (EAB Racing Team) completed the top ten.
With one more WorldSSP race to go at Most, on Sunday 17 May, Arenas leads the title race by 36 points from Masia and 44 from Debise.

WorldSBP Race One
The new-for-2026 FIM Sportbike World Championship has already delivered some great racing, but this time around it delivered a truly new spectacle, with some memories of the past thrown in.
Matteo Vannucci (Revo-M2 Aprilia) is a recent WorldSSP300 race winner, but on Saturday at Most he won his first Sportbike Championship race, and he did it on an April RS660 Factory machine.

The last time any Aprilia won inside the WorldSBK paddock was in 2018, when Maximillian Scheib took his RS-V4 to a victory in that now defunct Stock 1000 class.
Behind Vannucci (and only 0.059 seconds behind) was Jeffrey Buis (Track & Trades Wixx Racing Suzuki) who went from 11th on the grid to second.
A huge moment on the final lap for David Salvador (ProDina Kawasaki) did not stop him from recovering well enough to take third place, almost a second back from the top Aprilia and Suzuki riders.
Four Kawasakis finished in succession behind the leading duo, with Salvador followed home by his team-mate Antonio Torres, Loris Veneman (MTM Kawasaki) and Xavi Artigas (MTM Kawasaki).
Seventh was the first Triumph in the rankings, ridden by Fenton Seabright (PHR Performance Triumph), and the second Triumph home was right behind him, with Bruno Ieraci (CM Triumph Factory Racing) in eighth place.
Ferre Fleerackers (Track & Trades Wixx Racing Suzuki) was ninth and the small capacity Kove of 2025’s WorldSSP300 champion, Benat Fernandez (Kove Racing Team 109), rounded out the top ten.
An early crash saw Aussie rider Carter Thompson (Team BrCorse Yamaha) and three other riders fall. Thompson was given a double long lap penalty for Race Two for causing the crash, according to the officials.

An incredible twist in the 2026 ‘Ducati Cup’ narrative echoed around the nearby valleys on day one at Most, after the combined times at the 4.212km long circuit saw Garrett Gerloff (Kawasaki WorldSBK Team) head the second Free Practice session. His 1’30.791 lap time held off FP2 crasher Nicolo Bulega (Aruba. It Racing – Ducati) by 0.066 seconds.
Sam Lowes (ELF Marc VDS Racing Team Ducati) was third overall.

Iker Lecuona (Aruba. It Racing – Ducati), Alex Lowes (bimota by Kawasaki Racing Team) and Danilo Petrucci (ROKiT BMW Motorrad WorldSBK Team) completed the overnight top six places.
Axel Bassani (bimota by Kawasaki Racing Team) was seventh, ahead of two more Italians, Yari Montella (Barni Spark Racing Team) and Lorenzo Baldassarri (Team GoEleven Ducati).
The last rider inside the top ten proved to be BMW regular test rider and injury replacement for Miguel Olivera, Michael van Der Mark (ROKiT BMW Motorrad WorldSBK Team).
The top Yamaha rider, in 11th position, was Xavi Vierge (Pata Maxus Yamaha).
Superpole Qualifying takes place on Saturday 16 May.

His best time of 1’33.802 was a new track best. In winning the pre-race Superpole session, the Turkish rider was to end up just 0.050 seconds ahead of last year’s pole man, Lucas Mahias (GMT94-YAMAHA).

Valentin Debise (ZXMOTO Factory Evan Bros Racing) placed third on his Chinese machine, ahead of championship leader Albert Arenas (AS Racing Yamaha).
A great showing from Oli Bayliss (Triumph Factory Racing) put him into fifth place, making him the best Triumph-mounted rider on show. Roberto Garcia (GMT94-YAMAHA) was sixth, ensuring that there would be four R9 riders on the front two rows.
