The Monster Energy SuperMotocross World Championship heads to Music City for round 13 of the 2026 campaign. We’re at Nissan Stadium in downtown Nashville for another exciting race day. Hunter Lawrence and Eli Tomac are tied for the 450SX title fight but Ken Roczen is the man with the momentum as he’s won the last two rounds in a row and is only five back from the points lead. The 250SX East is also back on track as Cole Davies leads the way over Seth Hammaker.
Both points leaders – Hunter Lawrence and Cole Davies – further strengthened their championship strongholds with wins in their respective main events.

450SX MAIN EVENT
Justin Hill claimed the all-important holeshot but Ken Roczen quickly moved to the top spot on the second lap. It looked like Roczen could repeat for a third weekend in a row as he led the next 12-consecutive laps.

While Roczen held the lead, Hunter Lawrence stalked closely in second. The moment of the race occurred as Roczen slid and missed the triple jump – allowing Lawrence to jump past with first position. Roczen tried to stay close but made another critical mistake later on where he stalled the bike just before the finish line. This dropped Roczen back to fourth as Lawrence marched away with the lead and the eventual race win.

Roczen’s mistake moved Justin Hill and Cooper Webb up a spot with the 94 tailing them in fourth. Webb eventually cleared Hill and secured his first podium since Indianapolis. He still sits fourth in the championship standings.

Roczen managed to sneak around Hill in the waning stages of the race for third overall. A fourth-consecutive podium finish keeps Roczen in the hunt as he’s only 10 back from Hunter Lawrence who continues to lead.

Chase Sexton marched his way up to fourth at the line just behind Roczen. Justin Hill took a season-best fifth after Dylan Ferrandis was penalized one position for cutting the track.

Another tough night for Eli Tomac as he finished 12th. The KTM rider looked good at the start of the day by winning his heat race but never had the same pace come the main event. A crash added insult to injury as he relinquishes the red plate and drops to third in the championship, 15 back from Lawrence.

250SX MAIN EVENT
Cole Davies made things easy on himself with another big win in the 250SX main event. The Eastern Divisional points leader started fourth but quickly moved his way to the lead by the fifth lap. Despite the carnage behind him, Davies checked out from the rest of the field. He gapped second place by more than 15 seconds and claimed his fourth video of the season. Davies now leads the series by 19 points.

Nate Thrasher took his season-best finish of second place at the line. The Star Racing Yamaha rider claimed the holeshot and led the first few laps before being overtaken by his teammate Davies. Thrasher found himself shuffled back to fourth multiple times but chaos from the other racers allowed him to return back to a podium position. In the closing laps, Thrasher made up two spots and went from fourth to second thanks to a crash with Seth Hammaker and Daxton Bennick. This is Thrasher’s first podium of the season and comes fittingly in his home-state race.

Seth Hammaker salvaged a third place result. The Pro Circuit Kawasaki rider started behind Davies but made his way through the pack quickly. Hammaker fell once in the rhythm section but remounted in third place pushed again in the closing laps. He found himself back on the rear wheel of Bennick – who was running second – and the two tangled right in front of the mechanic’s area. Both riders hit the deck which allowed Thrasher to sneak by. Somehow Hammaker got up unscathed and still finished on the box.

After the race, Hammaker received a two position penalty for cutting the track while remounting after his crash. This dropped him from third to fifth while losing three more championship points. The penalty also moves Devin Simonson to a career-best finish in third with Bennick taking fourth even with the late-race crash.

450 QUALIFYING
Eli Tomac is back. After two lackluster rounds, the 450SX points leader topped the time charts with the fastest lap of the day. He’s back on the hard-packed conditions where the Red Bull KTM works to his liking – and using the scoop tire too. Hunter Lawrence, the co-points leader, was second overall with a time just one-tenth behind Tomac. Lawrence is doing the red plate justice as he’s rocking a one-off kit today in collaboration with Gibson Guitars. Ken Roczen took third overall in timed qualifying, three-tenths off Tomac. If Roczen wins tonight it will be the first time since 2021 where he’s completed three wins in a row (Indy residency 2021). Cooper Webb and Jorge Prado rounded out the top five.

250 QUALIFYING
Seth Hammaker is in a must-win situation if he wants to maintain his chances at the 250SX East championship. The Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki rider came out hot in 250 qualifying as he set the time to beat in the second session. This lap proved to be the best in class as he qualified four-tenths quicker than points leader Cole Davies. Hammaker’s time was also good enough for third in either class. Davies still took second overall in the 250 division with his Star Racing Yamaha teammate, Nate Thrasher in third.
