If you have ever asked the question “What would it take to build the ultimate track-attack machine,” the 2026 KTM 1390 Super Duke RR Track answers it.
The KTM 1390 Super Duke RR Track is the first track-only Super Duke model in the KTM lineup. Stripped of all components that could make it street-legal, it is built to strict FIM racetrack regulations, with a level of customization and equipment never before seen on a production-model KTM.
Built at KTM HQ in Mattighofen, the KTM 1390 Super Duke RR Track tips the scales at 9 kg less than the street-legal KTM 1390 Super Duke RR, and a whole 20kg (44 lbs.) less than the standard KTM 1390 Super Duke R.
To achieve this, KTM R&D removed all unnecessary road-going parts and panels, and reached for the very top shelf in the KTM parts catalog, putting together a purposeful and deliberate mix of carbon-fiber body parts, lightweight forged magnesium wheels, a full titanium Akrapovič Evolution Line exhaust, titanium screws, and a reduced electronics platform.
With weight-saving taken care of, the engineers set upon the handling characteristics next, bolting on WP Pro Components suspension with MotoGP technology, a Superbike-spec Brembo braking system, and Michelin Power Performance Slick tires—among others.
The result is a true no-compromise, Ready to Race track machine built for those who dare to break the rules.

BODYWORK
The KTM 1390 Super Duke RR TRACK embraces its Nakedness like never before. Stripped down to its bare essentials in a relentless pursuit of weight reduction, the motorcycle has used carbon fibre extensively, while all unnecessary parts and panels have been discarded.
The result is that an ultra-lean, ultra-nimble, no-compromise Hypernaked track weapon that prioritizes performance over comfort, made to break rules and shatter boundaries.
CHASSIS AND SUSPENSION
This is where black art happens.
The 2026 KTM 1390 Super Duke RR Track is based on the KTM 1390 Super Duke RR but features even higher top-tier chassis components designed for optimal track performance.
FRAME
The KTM 1390 Super Duke RR Track uses a unique frame with all unnecessary mounting points removed. This is done in an endless pursuit of weight saving, shaving off grams wherever possible.
FRONT SUSPENSION | WP APEX PRO FORK
The WP Apex Pro fork fitted to the KTM 1390 Super Duke RR Track brings MotoGP technology to a production machine. Featuring closed-cartridge technology derived from WP Factory Racing, the system delivers more consistent damping performance, sharper front-end precision, and a stronger connection between rider and surface.
Built from high-grade materials with extremely tight tolerances, the fork is tuned for precise feedback, improved traction, and reduced tire wear, enabling confident, aggressive riding with the ability to brake later and push harder. Finished with CNC-machined fork legs and in the newly released WP colorways, this is as ‘Factory’ as you could get.
Fully serviceable and homologated with the motorcycle, the fork also features optimized pressure balancing and allows quick spring changes without removing the forks from the bike. Riders can fine-tune performance with fully adjustable compression, rebound, and spring preload settings, along with a wide range of spring rates.
REAR SUSPENSION | WP PRO COMPONENTS INLINE SHOCK
At the rear, the WP Apex Pro inline shock continues the race-bred approach, developed directly from WP Factory Racing DNA and engineered with the same technologies trusted by championship-winning teams. Its streamlined inline design delivers a sleek, efficient package focused on control, grip, and stability for extreme performance riding.
Designed to maximize surface contact, the shock improves traction for earlier acceleration while keeping power planted when pushing the limits.
High-grade precision-milled components ensure durability and accuracy, while integrated mounting points for a potentiometer enable telemetry use and advanced suspension tuning if required. Fully homologated with the motorcycle, the system offers extensive adjustability, including high and low-speed compression damping, rebound adjustment, hydraulic spring preload, and length adjustment to accommodate different riding styles. A wide range of spring rates and the ability to perform fast spring changes further allow riders to tailor the suspension setup for maximum feedback, confidence, and performance.
WHEELS AND TIRES
The KTM 1390 Super Duke RR Track features lightweight 7-spoke forged magnesium wheels, inspired by the design and standards of the KTM RC16, which weigh 1.5 kg less than the cast wheels found on the standard KTM 1390 Super Duke R.
These wheels are fitted with Michelin Power Performance Slicks, providing the grip needed from the first lap. The materials used in Michelin’s recipe allow the rubber to warm up quickly. It benefits from the latest technologies developed in MotoGP.

BRAKE AND CLUTCH SYSTEM
The KTM 1390 Super Duke RR Track is equipped with a Superbike-spec Brembo braking system.
Corsa Corta master cylinders take charge of Brembo GP4 MS Monobloc four piston, radially mounted calipers upfront with 320 mm T-Drive brake discs, with Brembo P2.34 two-piston, fixed caliper grabbing a 240 mm brake disc on the rear.
FIREBREATHING LC8 V-TWIN
The KTM 1390 Super Duke RR Track is powered by the same V-twin engine as the KTM 1390 Super Duke R, a powerhouse that hardly needs an introduction. The primary focus for this latest version of the LC8 engine has been to maintain its thrilling character: a torquey, powerful, and exciting Hypernaked engine that delivers immediate performance with a simple twist of the throttle. Titanium bolts throughout reduce weight, contributing to a higher power-to-weight ratio. Power output measures at 196 PS at 10,000 rpm and KTM achieved an impressive 202 PS with the ram-air system at 250km/h and the 151 Nm of torque help riders exit turns with full command, even if in the wrong gear.
EXHAUST
The KTM 1390 Super Duke RR Track comes standard with a full Akrapovic Evolution Line exhaust system, with new mapping and a race air filter.
This premium exhaust package has been developed to deliver both power and torque gains across the entire rev range, producing a deep, sporty sound without any unwanted drone – ideal for blasting lap after lap and full throttle.
TECHNOLOGY
Unlike the electronic powerhouse that is the KTM 1390 Super Duke RR, the KTM 1390 Super Duke RR Track version has a purposefully reduced electronics system—reduced to give the rider only the information they need.
TFT DASHBOARD
A 4.2″ full-color TFT dashboard takes prime position ahead of the pilot, featuring a unique, specially designed user interface to suit the compact screen size. Screen display is also configurable from a full information layout to a reduced layout with increased gear position and rpm indicators.
Made from bonded glass, the TFT screen also boasts a special coating and polarization to reduce glare and increase visibility in all lighting conditions—specially tuned to track-only functions.
