Prima Pramac Yamaha MotoGP and bLU cRU Pramac Yamaha Moto2 teams launched their 2026 MotoGP campaign at the Accademia Musicale Chigiana, just steps from the iconic Piazza del Campo.

The choice of Siena is symbolic to the team. Here’s what the press release says:
“It reflects the heritage of Pramac, the construction equipment company whose long-term vision and commitment have played a central role in the development of the racing project. In 2026, two important milestones are celebrated: 25 years of competition in the MotoGP World Championship and 60 years of Pramac, making Siena a meaningful setting to mark these anniversaries.”
Yamaha’s second Factory Team, Prima Pramac Yamaha MotoGP, heads into the 2026 MotoGP season with the debut of three-time World Superbike Champion Toprak Razgatlıoglu, who becomes the first Turkish rider to compete in the premier class. Renowned for his spectacular and instinctive riding style, his transition to MotoGP will be one of the highlights of the season.

Alongside him, Jack Miller once again represents a key pillar of the project. The experienced Australian brings valuable knowledge of the championship and will play an important role in both bike development and race performance.
Stability remains one of the team’s strengths. The management structure is confirmed for 2026, with a group that has worked together for years and continues to operate with cohesion, efficiency and shared ambition.
Prima Assicurazioni will once again be the title sponsor of Prima Pramac Yamaha MotoGP for the 2026 season, continuing to support the team and its long-term project with Yamaha.

Paolo Campinoti, Team Principal:
“The 2026 season is a special milestone for us, as we celebrate 25 years in the MotoGP World Championship. These years have been full of emotions, challenges and growth, and they have shaped the strong and determined team we are today. We are fully focused on continuing the progress required by this ambitious partnership with Yamaha. Now in its second year, this project brings new challenges that we are eager to face with commitment, experience and the full strength of our team. I would like to thank Prima Assicurazioni for their continued trust and support, which gives us stability and confidence as we build for the future. I am delighted to welcome Toprak Razgatlıoglu to the team and excited to see his talent and spectacular riding style in Prima Pramac colors. I also want to thank Jack Miller for being with us once again — his experience and contribution are fundamental to our ambitions.”

Paolo Pavesio, Managing Director – Yamaha Motor Racing:
“The Prima Pramac Yamaha MotoGP project is a central part of Yamaha’s factory racing strategy and a clear expression of our long-term commitment to growth, performance and innovation in the premier class. The first year of this partnership allowed us to build strong foundations, aligning people, processes and technical direction. As we enter the second season together, the focus remains on development, consistency and on strengthening the structure required to bring this project back to the front of the field. Jack Miller’s continuity is an important asset for us. His experience, technical feedback and competitive mindset play a key role in supporting the evolution of the bike and the team’s overall performance. At the same time, welcoming Toprak Razgatlıoglu to MotoGP represents a significant and exciting step within Yamaha’s broader racing vision. Toprak’s talent and character are unquestionable, but his transition to the premier class is a journey that will require time, patience and mutual adaptation. Our objective is to provide him with the right environment to learn, grow and progressively express his potential at the highest level.”

Gino Borsoi, Team Director:
“The second year of our partnership with Yamaha is extremely important, especially as it coincides with a major shift in their technical philosophy. Yamaha has taken a bold step forward with a completely new project, and their full support is helping us adapt quickly and effectively to this new bike. The 2026 season represents a fresh start in many ways. While we welcome back Jack Miller, the new bike and the arrival of Toprak Razgatlıoglu bring new challenges and a natural learning curve for everyone involved — an exciting phase where adaptability will be key. We strongly believe in our rider lineup. Jack’s experience, including his familiarity with V-engine bikes, will be invaluable in development, while Toprak will be given the time he needs to learn a new bike, new tires and a new championship. His talent is exceptional and we know he can surprise us from the very beginning. There is a strong determination within the team to help bring Yamaha back to where they belong. With their commitment, our structure and the talent of our riders, we are confident we can grow together and truly ‘Rev Your Heart’.”
George Ottathycal, CEO – Prima Assicurazioni:
“We are very happy to stand alongside Prima Pramac Racing in a special season that coincides with the team’s 25th anniversary. We are also extremely proud to have been part of the journey in recent years, during which the team achieved significant milestones, culminating in the historic 2024 MotoGP Riders World Championship — a symbol of the strength of our synergy. We are equally proud to take on together a new and ambitious challenge: bringing an iconic brand like Yamaha back to the top of the MotoGP World Championship. United by team spirit, dedication and innovation, we are ready to write a new chapter.”

Jack Miller, Prima Pramac Yamaha MotoGP rider:
“Now with the V4 as our race bike for the season, it feels like a fresh chapter. It’s an exciting project to be part of, and there’s a real sense of belief behind it. I’m proud to be continuing with Prima Pramac Yamaha and keen to see where we can take this thing. Kicking off a new season with the same crew feels good. There’s a lot to be said for continuity in this paddock and coming back into the garage knowing the people, the work ethic and the direction makes a big difference. Last year was a proper learning year for me with Yamaha. We had some strong moments, worked through a few tough ones, but ultimately built a solid base together. I genuinely enjoyed the challenge of adapting and figuring things out as the season went on.”

Toprak Razgatlıoglu, Prima Pramac Yamaha MotoGP rider:
“Today is a very special moment for me to join the Prima Pramac Yamaha MotoGP family. The team’s history and its strong partnership with Yamaha played a key role in my decision. This is a new chapter in my career, and I want to approach it with a long-term development mindset from the very beginning. The first tests with the new YZR-M1 V4 have been positive, especially in terms of acceleration and corner exit. Of course, this is just the start — in MotoGP, performance comes from continuous work, data sharing and step-by-step improvement, and that is our focus right now. My main objective this season is development: adapting to MotoGP, understanding the bike and the level of competition, and building consistency race by race. Results matter, but at this stage the process is the priority. I’ve found a very strong and motivated team here, and I’m grateful to Prima Pramac Yamaha and to Yamaha for their trust and support. I will give my best every lap, and with patience, commitment and teamwork, I believe we are heading in the right direction.”

The bLU cRU Pramac Yamaha Moto2 was officially presented alongside the MotoGP team.
The 2026 season represents the second year of competition for the bLU cRU Pramac Yamaha Moto2 project in the Moto2 World Championship. After a first year dedicated to learning, building structure and gaining experience in one of the most competitive categories in world championship racing, the team now enters the new season with clear ambitions and the determination to establish itself as a consistent contender at every circuit.

On track aboard Boscoscuro machinery, Izan Guevara returns to the team and is joined by Alberto Ferrandez. Team Director Gino Borsoi and Team Manager Alex De Angelis once again lead the Moto2 operation.
Paolo Campinoti, Team Principal:
“The second season of the bLU cRU Pramac Yamaha Moto2 project represents an important step forward for us. After a first year dedicated to learning and building experience in a very competitive category, we now approach the new season with greater awareness and clear ambitions. Izan Guevara showed strong potential last year and proved that he has the speed and mentality to grow within this project. We expect him to continue on that path and take another step forward. At the same time, we are pleased to welcome Alberto Ferrandez, who joins the team with great motivation and represents an important part of our development strategy in Moto2. Together with Yamaha, Boscoscuro and our technical staff, our objective remains to support both riders in their growth and prepare them for the highest level of competition, fully in line with the philosophy of the bLU cRU program.”

Paolo Pavesio, Managing Director – Yamaha Motor Racing:
“The bLU cRU Pramac Yamaha Moto2 project represents a fundamental pillar of Yamaha’s long-term racing strategy. Moto2 is not only a highly competitive championship, but a key development environment where riders learn how to grow within a professional structure and prepare themselves for the next level. After a first season focused on building foundations, 2026 marks an important step forward for this project. Continuity within the team and a clear development mindset allow us to strengthen the link between bLU cRU and MotoGP, ensuring coherence across our entire racing pyramid. Together with Pramac Racing, and with the guidance of Alex De Angelis and the entire team staff, our objective is to continue building a structured, sustainable environment where young riders can develop not only speed, but also the mindset and professionalism required at the highest level of our sport.”
Gino Borsoi, Team Director:
“The second year of our Moto2 project with Yamaha is a very important one for the team. After the experience gained during our debut season, we now have a better understanding of the bike and a much more synchronized working method across the entire structure. The way last season ended with Izan gives us confidence, and the objective is to restart from that level and build consistency from the very first races. Izan showed strong progress and maturity in the final part of last year, and we expect him to continue on that trajectory, with the ambition to fight regularly for top results. At the same time, we are very happy to welcome Alberto Ferrandez. He is young, talented and has already proven his potential in the FIM JuniorGP Moto2 class. Everything will be new for him in Moto2, but the team will support him fully to help him adapt quickly. There is great focus and determination within the team, and we believe that this combination of continuity, new energy and technical support will allow us to take an important step forward and build a strong future within the Yamaha program.”
Alex De Angelis, Team Manager:
“I’m really excited to start this new season, as we now have a very well-balanced team and a much stronger base compared to last year. The structure has grown, with additional resources reinforcing the project, and the entire team is now working in sync. We know each other well, and this allows us to make the most of everyone’s skills and experience. Our rider lineup is young and extremely talented. Izan is a former World Champion who already showed what he is capable of: he won a race with us last season and finished the year with strong momentum. We have high expectations for him and believe he can be a consistent reference this season. At the same time, we are very happy to welcome Alberto Ferrandez. He is young but already familiar with Moto2 machinery thanks to his experience in the FIM JuniorGP Moto2 class, where he showed great potential. Supporting young riders in their development is something I care deeply about, and we will do everything possible to help him adapt quickly to this new challenge. With the level of organization we have now and the determination within the team, I sincerely believe we have everything it takes to continue the progress shown in the second part of last season and be among the main contenders in the championship.”

Izan Guevara, bLU cRU Pramac Yamaha Moto2 rider:
“I am thrilled to start my second season with the bLU cRU Pramac Yamaha. Looking back at everything we achieved and learned during our first year together, I feel we have built a very solid foundation. Today’s presentation is not just a start, but a continuation of our mission to reach the top. Having a year of experience with this bike and with the crew gives me a lot of confidence. We already know what it feels like to win together, and that experience is vital. This winter, we’ve focused on refining the small details to keep improving our performance. I want to thank the entire Yamaha and Pramac family for their continued belief in me. I’ve worked harder than ever this winter to be ready for the challenge. I can’t wait to start racing this new season!”

Alberto Ferrandez, bLU cRU Pramac Yamaha Moto2 rider:
“I am very happy to take on this new challenge in the Moto2 World Championship. For me, it represents a very important step in my professional career and a great opportunity to continue growing as a rider. I am also very pleased with the team I will be racing with this season, as I consider them to be one of the best in the championship. From the very beginning, I have felt a strong level of trust from them, and they have made me feel like a key part of the project, which is essential to perform at the highest level. The team has extensive experience in the World Championship, and my goal is to learn as much as possible from them, work as hard as I can every day, and contribute everything I have so that together we can fight to move closer to the top of the category. Finally, I would like to express my great respect and gratitude to everyone who has supported me and decided to give me this incredible opportunity. I will not waste it. I will give my maximum at all times, and I can only say thank you to everyone for the trust and support.”
Luca Boscoscuro, CEO Boscoscuro:
“The first season together ended with Guevara’s and the team’s maiden Moto2 victory in Valencia, a result that boosted confidence and gave a strong voice to a constantly growing project, focused on sporting development and improving on-track performance. We are happy to face a new season with the bLU cRU Pramac Yamaha Racing Moto2 team and confident in their riders. Guevara continues to stand out as one of the cornerstones of the project and among the protagonists of the 2026 season. With the arrival of Alberto Ferrandez, the team confirms its commitment to investing in new talents, giving them the opportunity to grow alongside an established team.”
