Irvine, CA (February 25, 2026) – MotoAmerica, North America’s premier motorcycle road racing series, has partnered with Blue Ridge Distilling Company’s Defiant Whisky for the 2026 championship season. This partnership expands the North Carolina-based distillery’s involvement in the series following its debut as a team sponsor for ARCH Racing in the 2025 Mission Super Hooligan National Championship.
This agreement brings the Defiant Whisky brand into the broader MotoAmerica paddock, highlighting a shared focus on American-made quality and performance. Based in the Blue Ridge Mountains, the distillery utilizes a “grain-to-glass” process focusing on four primary ingredients: premium, two-row malted barley; cultured yeast; American white oak barrels, and spring water from a natural limestone aquifer.
“Defiant Whisky has a unique synergy with motorcycle owners and race enthusiasts,” said Christopher J. Simovich, CEO at Blue Ridge Distilling Co. Inc. “After our premiere season sponsoring Arch Racing in the Super Hooligan class, we are expanding our support in the world of motorcycle racing through this partnership with MotoAmerica. We believe the world of racing and its viewership are on the rise, and we look forward to the 2026 season. See you at the track… Stay Fast. Stay Free. Stay Defiant.”
The addition of the distillery to the series roster reinforces MotoAmerica’s commitment to authentic American brands.
“We are excited to bring Defiant Whisky on board as an official partner,” said Lance Bryson, MotoAmerica Director of Sponsorship. “They’ve already shown their passion for the sport through their support in the Super Hooligan class, and they truly understand the culture of our paddock. Their distillery is located right in the heart of some of the best motorcycling roads in the country, making them a perfect fit for our fans.”
The 2026 MotoAmerica Championship has two iconic American brands competing head-to-head in the Mission King Of The Baggers, and now, American-made Defiant Whisky joins them and the rest of the MotoAmerica paddock for the 2026 season.
Located in Golden Valley, NC, the distillery is a frequent destination for riders traveling the nearby Tail of the Dragon, or Blue Ridge Parkway routes. The facility offers tours and tastings that highlight its “New World” approach to traditional whisky-making.
