2025 J Day Off-Road Series Round 12 Results

The Mohawk GP, round 12 of the J Day Off-Road Series, brought racers to Lanesborough, Massachusetts, October 18-19, for the East Grand Regional AMA Championship, sponsored by Ronnies of Bennington. The course featured a great layout full of tricky rocks, slick roots, and steep climbs and descents, keeping riders on their toes all day. Despite the demanding terrain, AmPro Yamaha rider Brandon Gregoire stayed smooth and consistent, claiming the Pro AA class win.

In moto one, Justin Cokinos (Plaistow Powersports) surged off the start to take the Fox Racing holeshot, leading a stacked field into the woods. Cokinos eventually settled into third as Brandon Gregoire and Thorn Devlin (KTM) battled for the lead. Devlin took the win with a one-minute lead over Gregoire.

Brayden Nolette (Beta) had a strong weekend, engaging in intense battles with Cooper Jones (KTM). Jones stayed on Nolette’s tail during the first half of the race, but Nolette pulled away to secure a comfortable fourth-place finish, with Jones finishing fifth.

In moto two, Gregoire led the pack until the end of lap one, when Thorn Devlin made a pass for first. Gregoire remained within four seconds of Devlin over the next three laps and made a decisive pass on the final lap to take the moto-two win.

Cody Williams (GasGas) battled from fifth to third in moto two, while Brayden Nolette once again pushed forward from sixth to fourth. Jiggs Fustini (KTM) and Justin Cokinos battled back and forth, with Fustini ultimately taking fifth overall.

On the overall podium, Gregoire claimed the top step, followed by Devlin in second and Nolette in third.

J Day Off-Road’s top amateur of the day was Kamakana Waiwaiole-Kahalepuna (KTM), who took first in A Open and finished 16th overall. Daniel Desmarais (Yamaha) won the A 200 class, finishing 21st overall, while Jordan Franklin (Husqvarna) claimed the A 250 class, finishing 19th overall.

In the Women’s Pro class, Addison Harris (KTM) put in another dominant performance, going 1-1 for the overall win, followed by Kayla O’Neill (Yamaha) in second and Nykea Williams (Yamaha) in third.
