MV Agusta has unveiled the stunning Superveloce 1000 Ago, the latest tribute to 15-time Grand Prix world champion Giacomo Agostini.

Limited to just 83 units worldwide in celebration of Ago’s 83rd birthday, each model is priced at $80,098 MSRP and due to arrive stateside in January 2026. The individual bikes come with a certificate of authenticity, a special bike cover, and commemorative extras, including a pillion seat, carbon heel guards and a variety of dedicated components. And to top it off, as part of a collaboration with Dainese, each of the 83 buyers will receive a custom-tailored Demone GP 3X leather suit and an AGV Pista GP RR helmet, both crafted in tribute to the legendary Italian racer.
Beneath the retro-inspired bodywork lies MV’s 998cc inline-four engine, which also resides in the Rush 1000 model, producing a claimed 205.2 bhp at 13,000 rpm and 86 lb-ft of torque at 11,000 rpm. Shared with the Brutale 1000 and Rush 1000, the powerplant is housed within a steel trellis frame paired with a lightweight aluminum single-sided swingarm.
Fully adjustable Öhlins electronic suspension handles damping duties, featuring 43mm NIX forks up front and a TTX shock at the rear, both offering 120mm of travel. An Öhlins electronic steering damper is also fitted.
Weighing in at 460 pounds (without fuel), the bike is wrapped in carbon-fiber bodywork with aerodynamic winglets and a single-seat tail. A distinctive four-exit underseat exhaust recalls the iconic F4 superbike.
Each unit features a real gold number plate, vivid yellow number boards, and licks of red and silver paint as a tribute to Agostini’s racing history. Even the ignition key includes a brass coin forged from one of Ago’s race trophies.
Rider aids include launch control, cruise control, wheelie control, and multiple ride modes, all accessible via a 5.5-inch TFT dash. Integrated GPS and anti-theft functionality are offered through the MV Ride app and Mobisat module, with a one-year subscription included.
Finishing off the high-spec package are Brembo Stylema calipers, 320mm floating discs, and cornering ABS with rear lift control.
