Parker, CO (March 26, 2025) – In December 2023, a group of four motorcycle enthusiasts in Colorado purchased a six-acre horse property in Parker and transformed it into The F.A.R.M., a specialized, slow-speed motorcycle-training facility. Their mission is to provide a safe, secure and controlled environment for riders to enhance their skills, eliminating the constraints imposed by congested tracks and trails. The facility’s central feature is a meticulously designed obstacle course that accommodates a diverse range of motorcycles, from 250cc dirt bikes to the substantial 500+ pound BMW ADV motorcycles, and everything in between.

The F.A.R.M.’s owners—Chris Briggs, Sherri Burrell, Lezlie Martin and Stephanie Townsend—collectively known as “The FARM Gals,” are committed to promoting the sport of adventure riding. In particular, they aim to inspire and encourage other women to embark on off-road adventures, potentially joining them in competitions such as the BMW GS Trophy, where Burrell and Townsend reached the Finals of the Qualifiers in 2023. Briggs envisions a world where women feel more comfortable riding off-road, enabling them to explore the globe on two wheels as she has done in recent years. Martin advocates for “more women like me” to experience the exhilaration of adventure motorcycling.

Given the ever-changing nature of off-road terrain influenced by weather conditions, The FARM Gals entice riders to embrace the unfamiliar on the property, offering diverse environments such as deep sand, rolling hills, gravel, a ribbon course, log jumps, off-camber slopes, rock gardens, simulated water crossings and more.

In its inaugural season of 2024, The F.A.R.M. welcomed esteemed trainers such as New Zealand superstar Chris Birch, Canadian enduro racer Megs Braap, two-time GS Trophy Qualifier competitor Kandi Spangler, BDR Ambassador and owner of Clear Moto Cassie Maier, and owner of SMART, Shalmarie Wilson. In 2025, they will welcome West 38 Moto and D.A.R.T. Moto to the extensive list of well-known and trusted professional trainers offering group classes at The F.A.R.M. The facility also offers open-ride sessions, providing three-hour opportunities for riders to independently practice their maneuvers or collaborate with peers.

The F.A.R.M.’s philosophy underscores the transformative potential of continuous learning:

“Repetition and intensity are the cornerstone of success. The more you challenge yourself, the more effortless it will become, and the greater joy it will bring.”
