Billy Bolt (Husqvarna) capped off his championship-winning season in the FIM SuperEnduro World Championship with another victory in France, March 8. The Brit clinched the 2025 title at the previous round but showed no signs of letting up at the championship final. Bolt took the overall win in all seven rounds of the championship.

Not only did Bolt win all three Prestige class races in France, but he also kicked off the evening by winning the SuperPole part of the program.
Fellow countryman Jonny Walker, on the factory Triumph, was Bolt’s closest competitor. Walker took the checkered flag with 4-2-2 results for second overall.
The Brightmore brothers, Ashton and Mitch, both riding GasGas, dueled for the last step of the podium, with Ashton winning out with 2-4-3 results to Mitch’s 9-3-4.
The only other rider to crack the top three in any of the three races in France was Stark Future’s Eddie Karlsson who finished third in the first race, backing that up with 6-5 results on his battery-powered motorcycle.
American Cooper Abbott, on the Cooper Abbott Racing/Sherco USA motorcycle, was sixth overall via 6-5-6 results.
Bolt said he made plenty of mistakes but still managed to take the win. “That was a bit of a wild night,” he said. “The track was difficult with a lot of ruts and soft ground, but I felt good and had great speed the whole night. I did make a lot of mistakes, but my clean laps gave me a good margin for error. The first three laps of the last final were so fun; I wanted to push hard and make a statement in the last race of the year.

“It’s been another great season and a perfect way to end it with a SuperPole victory and three race wins,” Bolt added. “My goal is always to win, and I couldn’t be happier to have done it again for the fifth year running.”
“We ended up second overall both tonight and in the championship,” Walker said. “It’s been an incredible first year on the bike, and the team has been amazing. I’ve ticked off a number of goals I had, like getting a SuperPole win and a race victory, so I can’t wait to see what we can do next year already!”
Bolt finished out the championship with 429 points, Walker 313 and Ashton Brightmore 286. Abbott finished out the championship in seventh with 189 points.
Spain’s Marc Fernandez Serra (Husqvarna) won the Junior title. CN
