Pod Active has released an all-new knee brace, the K8 3.0 Forged Carbon. The CE Level 2 Certified brace is available in a choice of two colors.
The K8 3.0 Forged Carbon knee brace dynamically adjusts to the leg to accommodate muscle motion and to disperse load more efficiently.
The chassis is made from military-grade carbon fiber and a proprietary viscoelastic polymer, which disperse impact energy and reduce vibrations. The third-gen K8 is overall shorter in length for improved in-the-boot comfort. A proprietary Human Motion Hinge utilizes Synthetic Ligaments to provide progressive multi-directional motion control. The Quick-Loc Clip System and interior straps are updated for anchoring the brace to the leg quicker and easier.
MSRP is listed at $399.95 for a single unit and $799.95 for a pair; the CE Level 2 Certified brace is available in a choice of two colors.

Forged Carbon Frame and Adaptive Cuff
The exclusive Forged Carbon Composite is crafted by layers of military-grade carbon-fiber sheets, pressed, heated and molded to optimize strength while reducing weight.
The new Adaptive Cuff increases comfort by adapting to the leg’s size or shape, so it accommodates muscle motion and disperses load more efficiently.
Adaptive Lower Frame
POD’s industry first adaptive lower frame captures and secures the leg while conforming to movement, plus reducing the risk and severity of injurious rotational forces by 54%.
Two rigid composite struts extend down each side of the tibia (shin bone) providing traditional extension and flexion control, while an innovative flexible TPU rubber bridge allows the lower frame to conform to various leg shapes, greatly enhancing comfort.
