Jeremy McGrath Went on to Win the Race
In this week’s Throwback we travel back 30 years to 1993 and the Indy Supercross held in the RCA Dome. Steve Lamson (No. 21) gets to the first turn in the lead at the start of the premier class (250cc) final. Taking the inside line is Jeremy McGrath (No. 15), tucked in just behind Lammy. Running the wide-open high line is Denny Stephenson (No. 23). In the Kinney Jones photo you can also see Grayson Goodman (No. 56), Brian Swink (No. 19), Jeff Matiasevich (No. 12) and Ray Sommo (No. 30). McGrath went on to win the race over Lamson and Emig.
