Here’s a look at two of the motocross boots offered by Acerbis, the X-Rock MM and X-Move 2.0.
$299.95
The Acerbis X-Move 2.0 motocross boots have hinges at the ankles that allow for enough flex for walking or shifting, but restrict movement to help prevent hyperextension.
The leather uppers have protective TPU paneling, and rubber inserts at the inner calves protect from engine heat while also providing grip to the bike. The elastic gaiters have Velcro closures, and the moto-specific Vibram soles are double stitched. The CE Level 2-rated boots secure on with a four-buckle quick-release/locking system.
$291.95
The pro-level X-Rock MM boots from Acerbis have a chassis made from cut- and abrasion-resistant leather.
They include inner-calf burn guards, impact-resistant shin guards, hinged ankles and protective TPU inserts. The boots secure on with four large buckles with aluminum levers. A combination of rigid plastic and steel is used for insoles, and the shock-proof Vibram soles include heel guards that are specifically shaped to make changing gears easier.
