Daytona Supercross—Ferrandis In, Cianciarulo Out

Some shake ups in the Supercross world as the series hits its stride and injuries start to play their part. We’ve learned today that Dylan Ferrandis is in for Daytona while Adam Cianciarulo will sit out this weekend’s round eight.
The good news is that Star Racing Yamaha announced that their rider, Dylan Ferrandis will return to racing after suffering a concussion at the Houston round of Supercross. He’s been following the concussion protocol and missed both Tampa and Arlington. We’ve seen videos of him riding at the Star Racing compound in Florida and DF14 looks good as new.
The bad news is that Monster Energy Kawasaki’s Adam Cianciarulo will sit out round eight after aggravating his wrist last weekend in Arlington. AC9 did not line up for round seven after injuring said wrist during the Friday press day practice session. No word on which wrist it is nor how severe the aggravation is, but it sounds like nothing is broken and we could see the Kawasaki rider back before the season ends.
