2023 Arenacross Round 13 Results

Despite already having clinched the title with two rounds remaining, Kyle Peters showed he isn’t planning on backing off in this year’s Arenacross Series. He swept round 13 in Little Rock, Arkansas with wins in both pro main events and further solidified his dominance this season.
Main one was smooth sailing for Peters. A good start put him out front on the tight and technical course. Soft dirt created tricky conditions as racers faced deep ruts and unpredictable lines during the main event. Peters got away from fellow Honda riders Kyle Bitterman and Izaih Clark who finished second and third, respectively.
Race two flipped the grid and put Peters on the back row with the other podium finishers. The challenging conditions made it tough for Peters to get to the front while Bitterman led the way. Peters found himself locked in a battle with Jared Lesher for second place. The two duked it out with Peters ultimately getting the advantage. With only a few laps remaining, Peters overtook Bitterman for the lead with a smooth line through the rutted whoop section. This pass sealed the deal as Peters went on to take the top spot over Bitterman and Lesher.
“I was really deep in the pack and the ruts made it difficult to pass,” Peters said. “Found a good line in the whoops and was able to make it happen with one or two to go. Really stoked to take both wins.”
Round 14, the series finale, takes place next weekend in Lexington, Kentucky. CN
