Red Bull TKO Prologue Takes Over Downtown Nashville

The inaugural Red Bull TKO Straight Rhythm Enduro was held on Broadway Street in downtown Nashville on Thursday, August 11th. It served as a demonstration prologue to for the Red Bull Tennessee Knockout Hard Enduro that took place at the Trials Training Center in Sequatchie, Tennessee about two hours south of Nashville, on August 12-13.

Sixteen men and three women raced in head-to-head best of three bracket races on a down and back EnduroCross type course that utilized logs, tractor tires and concrete culverts as obstacles. The three-hour show attracted a lot of motorcycle racing fans and introduced Hard Enduro to curious onlookers in multitude of bars and restaurants that line Broadway.

Spain’s Alfredo Gomez beat Germany’s Manuel Lettenbichler in the final to take the win. Polish rider Taddy Blazusiak out dueled Tim Apolle from Germany to take third place.

In the women’s racing, Rachel Gutish took a surprise win over Louise Forsley, who was the fastest qualifier.
