Hampshire To Rockstar Energy Husqvarna

It’s official, RJ Hampshire is now a member of the Rockstar Energy Husqvarna team. The Hampshire-to-Husqvarna rumor has been around for a while, but the Rockstar team made it official today. Hampshire signed a two-year deal with the team that will see him compete in both supercross and motocross. Hamphire has spent his entire professional racing career as a member of the Geico Honda team. He turned pro in 2014.

“Big changes for me this offseason, which brings a lot of excitement and motivation,” said Hampshire in a release from Husqvarna. “Everyone’s been awesome and I’m very impressed with the Husqvarna FC 250, the bike seems to fit my riding style well and I am very thankful for this opportunity! The expectations are high for myself and the team, we are looking forward to this fresh start!”

“We’re looking forward to working with RJ for the next two seasons,” Bobby Hewitt, Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing Team Manager, said. “He is an experienced rider with great potential and we expect a bright future with him and the Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing Team.”
