AOMC is presenting sponsor for the Women’s class and Amateur Prologue
Sequatchie, TN (July 19, 2019) – AOMC (Appalachian Offroad Motorcycle Company) is one of the premier motorcycle dealerships and parts/accessories/gear suppliers in the country. The West Virginia based company became a Kenda Tennessee Knockout partner in 2018 and will ramp up their involvement for 2019. They will again be the presenting sponsor for the Women’s class and new for 2019, AOMC will be the presenting sponsor for the Friday afternoon Amateur Prologue.
The Women will be competing for an AMA Grand Championship #1 plate and a $2,000 purse, with $1,000 going to the winner. The top three finishers will also earn the opportunity to compete in Sunday’s pro class.
The Friday afternoon AOMC Amateur Prologue will provide riders the opportunity to earn their Saturday starting positions. The course will be designed to produce a lap time in the 3-5 minute range and be challenging enough to allow the best riders to earn the best starting positions. The Amateur Prologue will be for both the AMA Grand Championship pre-qualified riders (to set their starting position for Saturday race two) and riders entered in the TKO amateur class to determine their starting positions for Saturday race one. Any riders that do not participate in the prologue will be lined up after those that participate in the prologue based on their sign up order.
“We are happy to expand our involvement with the TKO,” said Jamin Jones, the AOMC CEO. “The popularity of Extreme Enduro events has grown rapidly over the past few years and the TKO has proven to be a great event for both riders and spectators.”

After the Friday afternoon AOMC Prologue, the top amateur riders will compete in two rounds of racing on Saturday. The top 30 riders from Saturday will also earn the opportunity to compete on Sunday with the pre-qualified pro riders. The pre-qualified Sunday riders earn an invite based on top results in several major US or International off-road motorcycle series and events. Top-25 pro finishers from the prior year’s TKO also earn a spot on the Sunday invite list.
The Sunday racing uses a unique four round Knockout race format that is challenging for the riders and entertaining for the fans. The course layout provides a lot of great spectator locations with some unbelievably challenging terrain for all four Knockout rounds.
Mark your calendar for the weekend of August 16-18 to see the worlds best racers face off against the track and each other.
