2018 Husqvarna Off-Road and Dual Sport: FIRST LOOK
Cycle News Staff | July 7, 2017
Earlier this month, Husqvarna announced it would be offering an off-road fuel-injected two-stroke for the 2018 model year—and here it is, the official U.S. version of that bike. The 2018 Husqvarna TE250i features a transfer port induction system (TPS), with a separate oil pump and tank.
The TE 250i also gets a new WP Xplor 48m fork, new Magura brake calipers, GSK discs, and new Pro Taper handlebars.
The entire TE (two-stroke) and FE (four-stroke) range, which get the same chassis updates as the TE 250i, will consist of: TE 150, TE 250i, TE 300, FE 250, FE 350, FE 450 and FE 501. All of the FE models are street legal (dual sport). They will be available in July, except for the TE 250i, which will arrive closer to the end of the year.
