Merritt Island, FL (August 5, 2015) – In what proved to be two of the most competitive classes at this year’s Amateur National Motocross Championship at Loretta Lynn’s, Engine Ice-sponsored racers Ricky Renner and Paul Perebijnos survived the heat and the competition to take home Class Championships.
For the second year in a row, Ricky Renner dominated the Junior +25 class by finishing with 1-1-1 moto scores – and that was against some impressive talent including former two-time FIM World Champion Sebastien Tortelli. Renner, who raced a Husqvarna this year, and Tortelli, riding a Yamaha, battled each moto putting on a great show for the fans. Tortelli finished second with 2-2-2 moto scores.
Back-to-back Class Championships for Ricky Renner in the Junior +25 class.
In the Vet 30+ Class, Engine Ice athlete and ProTaper Brand Manager Paul Perebijnos, was consistent all week scoring 2-2-1 moto finishes and the Class Championship. Perebijnos, who was Dean Wilson’s former mechanic, battled with another Engine Ice athlete, Blake Keeton, who finished second with 1-3-5 moto scores. Charles Castloo was third with 5-5-2 results.

“Congratulations to Ricky Renner and Paul Perebijnos who are both long-time Engine Ice supporters,” explained David Kimmey, owner of CycleLogic Products, the producer of Engine Ice Hi-Performance Coolant. “Both Renner and Perebijnos were racing in classes stacked with talent, so winning championships was not an easy task, especially when you consider they were racing in near 100-degree temperatures.”
