This is a press release from Texas Tornado Boot Camp…
(July 28, 2015) – Two-time World Superbike Champion, Yamaha factory test pilot and Texas Tornado Boot Camp founder, Colin Edwards II is looking forward to the upcoming and sold-out “Pre-Indianapolis GP” Boot Camp, August 1-4.
Less than a week away from the highly anticipated Yamaha four-day experience, Colin and crew are ready to get things rolling. Along with students arriving from around the world, this event is set to be a star-studded camp of “A” list MotoGP and MotoAmerica racing stars.
“I’ve been so busy the last few months; I need some Boot Camp time,” says Edwards. “Ride, relax and meet some new folks over a beer or two. See y’all soon!!!”
It doesn’t stop there. For those who haven’t attended the Texas Tornado Boot Camp this year, there’s one last four-day camp available, October 31–November 3. This always popular “Halloween” edition of Boot Camp remains open for registration.
Texas Tornado Boot Camp not only offers training camps, it also features one of the only flat-track racing series’ in the south. Dirt Wars is a “race under the lights” at the premier 21-acre Yamaha facility. August 29 and October 11 mark the final two Dirt Wars rounds of the year. With amateur and pro classes now added to the Dirt Wars program, participants have an even better opportunity for a podium finish. Yamaha TTR-125 machines are provided for Dirt Wars classes. Motorcycles are not provided for Mad Dog classes. Racers need to bring their own equipment.
