Cycle News has learned that KTM factory off-road rider Taddy Blazusiak will not be riding the GEICO AMA EnduroCross Series, which begins this Friday in the Ocean Center in Daytona Beach, Florida. According to a source at KTM, Blazusiak wants to concentrate on the SuperEnduro series, which he is leading, and also ride more extreme off-road races, although he make appearances at one or two of the US rounds. The constant flying back and forth from Europe to America is also a factor, according to Blazusiak.

Friday will mark the first time in seven years that the five-time EnduroCross champ will not be on the starting line. Since factory KTM rider Taylor Robert is current out with an injured wrist, the only KTM rider competing for the factory team this weekend will be Cody Webb, who is actually riding for RPM KTM.
