2015 Beta Xtrainer
Beta has pretty much introduced a new class of motorcycle with its all-new Xtrainer, a compact, lightweight and easy-to-ride all-around off-road bike designed for the entry-level, casual and even expert rider.
Beta says, “It is the perfect bike for riders who wish to play ride without the intimidation of a full-size enduro machine or for the expert rider looking to enhance their technical skills.
“Our engineers saw the need to build a bike that defines fun, a motorcycle that is perfect for newcomers becoming involved with the wonderful world of enduro riding. The Xtrainer offers excellent performance while at the same time is easy to ride.”
The Beta Xtrainer features a smaller deltabox frame, which provides for a lower seat height and a lower center of gravity. It has a 43mm fork and single-shock rear suspension.
“We have been working on the Xtrainer for a few years; the idea was not to copy the competition but rather develop a bike for a market that we felt was being missed, the entry-level enduro or off-road bike. After riding the Xtrainer I realized how cool it is to ride a motorcycle off-road that has such usable and easy to manage power can be. The bike is just plain fun!” said Tim Pilg, Beta USA Marketing Manager.
The bike’s powerplant is derived from Beta’s popular 300 RR two-stroke that is said to produce a linear and progressive power, and it has electric starting. It has an electronically controlled oil injection system, which eliminates the need of having to mix fuel and oil. In other words, no premixing!
MSRP is $6999 and the bike is expected to be available in March, 2015.
