Jeremy Toye Set For Pikes Peak Hillclimb Debut

Road racer Jeremy Toye will compete in the Open class of the Pikes Peak Hillclimb in Colorado on Sunday, June 29, the Californian set to race a modified ZX-10R with backing from Kawasaki.
Toye has experience in road racing on the streets, as he’s a veteran of races like the Isle of Man TT and the Macau GP.
Toye is hopeful of breaking the outright Pikes Peak motorcycle record set by Carlin Dunne in 2012 with a nine minute, 52.819 second run up the 12.42-mile course.
Kawasaki will also field Colombian Daniel Fernández on a Kawasaki Versys 1000 and will become the first Colombian to take part in the race.
Kawasaki representatives, along with Toye and his ZX-10R, will be on-hand to celebrate the Ninja’s 30th Anniversary in downtown Colorado Springs at the Pikes Peak Fan Fest on Friday, June 27. The flag then drops for racing on Sunday, June 29th at 8 a.m.
The Broadmoor Pikes Peak International Hillclimb is North America’s second-oldest motorsports event behind the Indianapolis 500.
