St. Louis, Missouri (March 28, 2014) – Martin Davalos took a wire-to-wire win in the Edward Jones Dome, holding off a hard-charging Justin Bogle to collect his second win of the season in the 250 SX East Regional Supercross Series. With the win, the Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki rider extended his lead in the series standings to eight points.

“This was a tough race tonight,” said Davalos. “Again, the start was key, and I was able to get the early lead and hold on. I want to enjoy this win and go back and keep working hard.”

Bogle kept the pressure on Davalos for the final 10 laps of the 15-lap race, the GEICO Honda rider pulling within striking distance of Davalos three different times, but lost ground each time and eventually settled for second at the finish.

“I felt I was riding fast enough, I just made too many mistakes,” said Bogle.

Davalos’ Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki teammate Blake Baggett suffered another bad start but fought his way into third by the end of the race.

Meanwhile, MotoConcepts’ Kyle Cunningham made a great ride to finish fourth ahead of Factory Metal Works Honda’s AJ Catanzaro.
