Supercross: Adam Cianciarulo Fastest In 250 Qualifying At Daytona

Daytona Beach, Florida (March 8, 2014) – Adam Cianciarulo came on strong at the end of the final practice session this afternoon to claim the fastest time in today’s 250 SX West Regional qualifying for in preparation for tonight’s Daytona Supercross by Honda at Daytona International Speedway.

One lap after Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki teammate Blake Baggett took over the top spot in qualifying, Cianciarulo turned in a blazing time that was two-tenths of a second faster, leaving Baggett with the second-fastest time of the day.

Martin Davalos made it three Pro Circuit riders in the top three after finishing the session another seven-tenths behind Baggett.

In fourth, and over a second behind Davalos, was GEICO Honda’s Blake Wharton. Meanwhile Honda rider James Decotis rounded out the top five about a second behind Wharton.

Sixth through 10th was occupied by GEICO Honda’s Justin Bogle in sixth, Star Tracing Yamaha’s Jeremy Martin in Seventh, CycleTrader.com’s Jeremy Martin in eighth, and Factory Metal Works Honda riders Vince Friese and AJ Catanzaro in ninth and 10th.
