Rossi and Hayden’s 2012 Weapon Unveiled

Cycle News Staff | March 6, 2012

The Ducati Marlboro team took a lot of flak for not having a motorcycle to show at Wrooom, their official team intro in the Italian Dolomites in early January. Now, more than two months and two tests later, they’re ready to unveil….the paint job.

The Ducati Marlboro GP12 made its public debut at the end of January at the first three-day Sepang test, where it performed well. The results weren’t as positive at the recently concluded test at the end of the month. The bike ran in carbon fiber black both times, the official paint scheme still under wraps. That will change when its shown to the public with an online presentation that Ducatisti worldwide can catch live.

To join Valentino Rossi and Nicky Hayden live from Ducati HQ in Borgo Panigale, just click on the Facebook page of TIM, Facebook.com/TimOfficialPage, on Monday, March 19 at 1 p.m. Italy time. With the U.S. observing Daylight Savings Time this weekend, the time difference to Europe will be reduced by one hour. East Coasters can catch the presentation starting at 8:00 a.m., while West Coasters can watch it at 5:00 a.m.
