Indianapolis, IN, August 26, 2011 – Mike Brown posted the fastest time during hot-lap qualifying in preparation for tonight’s round of the GEICO AMA Endurocross at Pepsi Coliseum in Indianapolis. The FMF/KTM rider edged factory Beta rider Cody Webb by three-tenths of a second to claim the top spot, while current series points leader Taddy Blazusiak ended up seventh-fastest after clipping a marker during his qualifying lap.

GEICO Powersports Honda’s Geoff Aaron clocked the third-fastest lap, while Gary Sutherland and Monster Energy Kawasaki’s Justin Soule rounded out the top five.

The Indy course is a bit faster than the previous two rounds held so far, and most of the riders are having very little problems with any of the obstacles. Blazusiak, who leads Brown by 17 points in the standings, will be going for a third-straight win tonight.
