Four-time world motorcycle champion, Eddie Lawson, piloted his #7 Yamaha-powered superkart to victory in record time at today’s (Sunday, October 19) Super Stars of Superkarts event at Laguna Seca Raceway.
Lawson started on pole and led every lap, narrowly beating the hard charging #9 superkart of Australian Sam Zavaglia. Today’s win marked the third time Lawson and Yamaha have won the Super Stars of Superkarts race, an invitational event run in conjunction with the American Le Mans Series weekend at the famed circuit.
