Grant Langston claimed the overall win, via 1-3 moto finishes, at the final round of the AMA Motocross Series at Glen Helen Raceway, earning him the 2007 Motocross-class title.

Kevin Windham rode one of his best races of the year to claim the final moto win on his Sobe No Fear/Samsung/Honda, which gave him third overall for the day, after finishing fifth in the opening moto.

KTM’s Mike Alessi grabbed the holeshot at the start of the second moto, but dropped to third after crashing on the second lap and handing the runner up position to Langston. However, Alessi worked back into position behind Langston and passed the Yamaha rider with two laps to go to finish second, giving him a 2-2 score for second overall.

Kawasaki’s Tim Ferry finished fourth in the moto and fourth overall, while Honda’s Andrew Short was fifth overall after taking sixth in the final moto.

Langston came on strong at the end of the season, after James Stewart went down with injury, and claimed three overall wins en route to his first Motocross-class National title.
