Carmichael Fastest In St. Louis Practice

Practice has concluded in the Edward Jones Dome for the top riders at round seven of the Amp’d Mobile AMA Supercross Series in St. Louis, Missouri, and it was Ricky Carmichael who posted the fastest time. In fact, the Team Makita Suzuki rider posted the three fastest times. R.C.’s best lap was a 51.117, compared to James Stewart’s fastest lap, which was a 51.815, on his factory Kawasaki.

Camrichael’s teammate, Ivan Tedesco, was third fastest, with a 52.798, while Team Yamaha’s Chad Reed was fourth fastest with a 53.2.

In the Lites division, Team Honda’s Davi Millsaps looked extremely smooth and turned a 52.481 to lead the pack, followed by Sobe/Samsung/Mobile/Honda’s Josh Grant with a 53.645 and Yamaha of Troy’s Matt Walker with a 54.155.

Most of the riders like the track, which is tacky and rutting up just a bit.
