Geoff Aaron, Ryon Bell win Wyoming National Trials

Geoff Aaron (Gas Gas) wrapped up the 2003 AMA/NATC Observed Trials Championship after going 2-1 in the next-to-last round of the series in Casper, Wyoming, August 2-3. The title is his seventh, breaking Ryan Young’s record of six National titles.

In Wyoming, Aaron finished second to Ryon Bell (Gas Gas), while David Chaves (Sherco) finished third, it was Chaves’ first podium of the year.

On Sunday, Aaron and Bell tied with 12 points. The tie-breaker eventually went to Aaron. Chris Florin (Montesa) ended up third.
