Matt Karlsen Tops Colorado National Hare Scrambles

Yamaha rider Matt Karlsen scored the overall win at the AMA National Hare Scrambles in Miliken, Colorado, April 15. Karlsen put himself in the right spot at the right time when Ty Davis, who had won the National Hare & Hound round in Utah the day before, dropped out with mechanical problems on the last lap while leading. Karlsen went on to take the win over fellow Yamaha rider Russell Pearson.
Third in the race went to KTM-mounted Brian Garrahan, followed by Kawasaki’s Fred Andrews and Destry Abbott.
