Lafferty Tops at Cherokee National

KTM’s Mike Lafferty made it two wins in a row after topping the second round of the AMA National Enduro Series in Greensboro, Georgia, March 17. Finishing second at the Cherokee Cycle Club-hosted enduro was Yamaha-mounted Barry Hawk, followed by fellow Yamaha riders David Lykke and Robbie Jenks.

The next five positions were filled by Gas Gas pilots Rodney Judson, Matt Stavish, Terry Cunningham, Nolan Knight and Clay Boreing. KTM-mounted Russell Epley rounded out the top 10 overall.

After two rounds, Lafferty leads the series with a perfect 60 points, followed by Lykke with 39, and Fred Hoess and Stavish both with 31 points.
