Bradshaw Rules Switzerland

Paul Carruthers | December 18, 2001

Damon Bradshaw dominated the Speed Stick presents National Arenacross from the Pal Expo in Geneva, Switzerland winning three of four main events to earn the 2001 King of Geneva title.

Josh Demuth, the Arenacross National points leader, managed to hold on to his season lead with three second place finishes and a win as Americans dominated the podium on both nights.

“There is nothing like racing in Geneva,” Bradshaw said in a Clear Channel press release. It is easy to get excited and race hard when the crowd is loud and this supportive of Arenacross in Europe.”

Jeff Willoh, last year’s King of Geneva, didn’t finish in the top five.

“I cannot get up to speed this year,” Willoh said. “Each week I seem to get stronger and faster, but so do the other guys. Once I get that first win of the year, the others will come more easily.”
