Team Kawasaki Chevy Trucks’ Ricky Carmichael earned the overall victory today in his one-off 125cc National ride, going 3-1 to score the win at Steel City Raceway in Delmont, Pennsylvania.

The big news, however, is the fact that Mike Brown has taken the 125cc National Championship on his Pro Circuit Kawasaki. Brown carded a 1-3 tally to best championship rival Grant Langston, who ended up ninth overall after finishing second in the first moto and then DNFing in the second. Brown secured the title over Langston, 458-444.

Honda-mounted Brandon Jesseman ended up third overall in the 125cc class via his 7-2 moto tally, one spot better than Yamaha’s Ernesto Fonseca’s 4-4.

In 250cc action, Suzuki’s Kevin Windham had a perfect day, carding a 1-1 to take the overall in Carmichael’s absence. Yamaha’s Tim Ferry was second with Honda-mounted Mike LaRocco finishing third overall.
