WorldSBK Race Two
In front of an enthusiastic Italian crowd and several Ducati factory bosses, Iker Lecuona (Aruba.It Racing – Ducati) won the final Cremona race, but Nicolo Bulega (Aruba.It Racing – Ducati) became the 2026 WorldSBK Champion after finishing second.
It was super-important for Bulega and all to win the title on home soil, for many reasons, including the fact that some of the main players will be off on their MotoGP travels when the final two rounds of WorldSBK take place at Estoril and Jerez.
All in red held their nerve and secured not just the riders’ title, but another 1-2, displaying total dominance again.
In third place, Yari Montella (Barni Spark Racing Team) added to the overall Ducati joy, with Alberto Surra (Motocorsa Racing Ducati) fourth.
Alex Lowes (bimota by Kawasaki Racing Team) took fifth position, and in a truly season-best result, Jake Dixon (Honda HRC) was sixth.
Having started far back after his Superpole Race clash and crash with Garrett Gerloff (Kawasaki WorldSBK Team), Lorenzo Baldassarri (Team GoEleven Ducati) was seventh and Gerloff eighth.
Axel Bassani (bimota by Kawasaki Racing Team) and top Yamaha rider, Andrea Locatelli (Pata Maxus Yamaha) completed the top ten placings.
Several other top riders fell, including the fast-starting Miguel Oliveira (ROKiT BMW Motorrad WorldSBK Team), who was mixing it with the top six riders until his fall.
In the championship standings, with two whole rounds to go, Bulega has 602 points and Lecuona 469 – a delta of 133 points with a maximum of 125 left for any rider who wins every race.

WorldSSP Race Two
Neither Kawasaki nor Jeremy Alcoba (Kawasaki WorldSSP Team) had won two WorldSSP races on the same race weekend before, but in making a successful late play for Sunday’s victory, the Spanish rider created a bit of real history before he exits the team at the end of this season.
With Albert Arenas (AS Racing Yamaha) second and Valentin Debise (ZXMOTO Factory Evan Bros Racing) fifth in Race Two, the championship fight will go to at least the next round in Estoril. The points gap is 86 between the top two with a maximum possible 100 left.
Third place went to new lap record holder, Tom Booth-Amos (Triumph Factory Racing), but in taking the lead at half race distance, he probably used too much tyre and dropped back to third, 1.7 seconds from Alcoba.
Filippo Farioli (VFT Racing Team Yamaha) secured fourth place after overcoming a slowing Debise.
In sixth position after a full 20 laps this time around, Jaume Masia (Orelac Racing Verdnatura Ducati) was a whopping ten seconds behind, in a one-man ride at the end.
Three riders constituted a group behind him with Philipp Öttl (Feel Racing WorldSSP Team Ducati), Federico Caricasulo (ZXMOTO Factory Evan Bros Racing) and Matteo Ferrari (WRP Racing Ducati). Lucas Mahias (GMT94-YAMAHA) placed tenth in Race Two.
Oli Bayliss (Triumph Factory Racing) finished 13th after his big Saturday race fall.

WorldSPB Race Two
The first WorldSPB race win for Yamaha and Carter Thompson (Team BrCorse Yamaha) could not have been more emphatic, as the Aussie rider dominated a mass group of warring riders by a vast 5.305 seconds after 12 laps of Cremona.
His best lap of 1’36.157 was a new record, set on lap six. Carter made Yamaha the fifth different manufacturer to have won at least one race in this new category, with just one more race weekend to go.
Second, at the front of a closely packed group of eight chasers, was potential champion Xavi Artigas (MTM Kawasaki), with Ferre Fleerackers (Track & Trades Wixx Racing Suzuki). Three different manufacturers filled the three podium places, but there was another Kawasaki rider, in fourth place.
Not David Salvador (ProDina Kawasaki) – as he was fifth – but Alvaro Fuertes (Deza-Box 77 Racing Team Kawasaki) was fourth, making this his best ride of the year.
Sixth was taken by Juan Risueno (Pons Motorsport Italika Racing) – another rider with a personal best – with the top Triumph rider proving to be Fenton Seabright (PHR Performance Triumph) in seventh. Jose Osuna (Deza-Box 77 Racing Team)
Placed eighth, as Marco Gaggi (Team BrCorse Yamaha) and Antonio Torres (ProDina Kawasaki) rounded out the top ten.
With just one round and two races still to go, at Jerez in the middle of October, Salvador leads Artigas by a reduced 12 point margin, with Thompson now third overall. Only Salvador or Artigas can now be champion, with a maximum of 50 points available at the final round, and Thompson 66 points behind.

WorldSBK Superpole Race
Iker Lecuona (Aruba.It Racing – Ducati) had an almost start-to-finish win in the ten-lap Superpole Race, making Nicolo Bulega (Aruba.It Racing – Ducati) wait for another chance to win the championship in Race Two later in the day.
There was an attempted pass on Lecuona, which only worked for a few corners, before the Spanish rider re-asserted himself and headed onto the top step of the podium. He won from Bulega by a very clearly defined 2.005 seconds.
Alberto Surra (Motocorsa Racing Ducati) was a first-time podium finisher in third, from Yari Montella (Barni Spark Racing Team), Sam Lowes (ELF Marc VDS Racing Team Ducati) and Alex Lowes (bimota by Kawasaki Racing Team).
In seventh position, Tommy Bridewell (Superbike Advocates Ducati) rode an eventually lonely race, with the top BMW rider being Miguel Oliveira (ROKiT BMW Motorrad WorldSBK Team), in eighth place.
Jake Dixon (Honda HRC) equalled his best-ever WorldSBK race finish in ninth, with Andrea Locatelli (Pata Maxus Yamaha) the top R1 rider in tenth.
Garrett Gerloff (Kawasaki WorldSBK Team) and Lorenzo Baldassarri (Team GoEleven Ducati) made contact and fell on lap one, with neither able to get back into action.

WorldSBK Race One
In a potentially tricky race for the runaway championship leader Nicolo Bulega (Aruba.It Racing – Ducati), Iker Lecuona (Aruba.It Racing – Ducati) won the first Cremona race by a significant 5.591 seconds from his team-mate.
This was Lecuona’s second WorldSBK race win, and easily his most impressive to date.
Alberto Surra (Motocorsa Racing Ducati) was on course for a significant podium finish but he fell from third place, allowing Sam Lowes (ELF Marc VDS Racing Team Ducati) to move into the final rostrum position and hold off the mid-race charge of Lorenzo Baldassarri (Team GoEleven Ducati), keeping the Italian rider in fourth place.
Garrett Gerloff (Kawasaki WorldSBK Team) had one of his best rides for Kawasaki as he finished in fifth place, albeit 20 seconds from Lecuona’s winning pace.
Gerloff was a slender 0.3 seconds ahead of Alex Lowes (bimota by Kawasaki Racing Team), as they battled it out well ahead of a four rider group.
Andrea Locatelli (Pata Maxus Yamaha) led that quartet across the line, closely followed by Axel Bassani (bimota by Kawasaki Racing Team) in eighth place, a focused Jake Dixon (Honda HRC) ninth and Alvaro Bautista (Barni Spark Racing Team) tenth.
This was Dixon’s best single race result for Honda in WorldSBK, but only equalled his best result when he was a wildcard on a Kawasaki at Donington in 2017.

WorldSSP Race One
Jeremy Alcoba (Kawasaki WorldSSP Team) scored his first win in WorldSSP after a stopped and restarted Race One in Cremona.
After Simon Jespersen (EAB Racing Team) and Roberto Garcia (GMT94-YAMAHA) fell, Garcia’s track re-entry caused gravel to be strewn across the track, bringing out the red flags.
In the restart, over 13 laps, Alcoba pushed on after once again starting from pole position, heading a four rider group out front. His margin of victory was only 0.568 seconds but he was seemingly in control for the entire event.
Championship leader Albert Arenas (AS Racing Yamaha) was second, from Filippo Farioli (VFT Racing Team Yamaha) and a hard chasing Valentin Debise (ZXMOTO Factory Evan Bros Racing) in fourth place.
Tom Booth-Amos (Triumph Factory Racing) was fifth, 3.7 seconds behind the lead, with another lone rider, Matteo Ferrari (WRP Racing Ducati) sixth.
Jaume Masia (Orelac Racing Verdnatura) placed seventh, with another Ducati rider, Mattia Casadei (D34G WorldSSP Racing Team) eighth at his team’s home round.
Dominique Aegerter (Kawasaki WorldSSP Team) had a strong finish by the recent standards of 2026, in ninth place, with the top ten being rounded out by Aldi Satya Mahendra (AS Racing Yamaha).
Oli Bayliss (Triumph Factory Racing) fell early on and was unable to restart.

WorldSPB Race One
Another closely fought WorldSPB race kicked off the first day of racing in Cremona, with Xavi Artigas (MTM Kawasaki) securing the win and Kawasaki taking the Manufacturers’ Championship title at the first time of asking in this new category of racing.
A great race, with lots of overtaking among the top six eventual leading group, saw Artigas look like the most likely winner, and he delivered by just 0.108 seconds, from determined Triumph rider, Harrison Dessoy (PHR Performance), with championship leader, David Salvador (ProDina Kawasaki) third.
Fenton Seabright (PHR Performance Triumph) was fourth, and from pole position Carter Thompson (Team BrCorse Yamaha) was fifth on the latest form of R7.
Alvaro Fuertes (Deza-Box 77 Racing Team) was the last of the eventual breakaway top six.
Top Suzuki rider, Ferre Fleerackers (Track & Trades Wixx Racing Suzuki) placed seventh, from the second BrCorse Yamaha of Marco Gaggi.
Jose Osuna (Deza-Box 77 Racing Team) was ninth and in a generally Kawasaki-dominated top ten, Julian Correa (Pons Motorsport Italika Racing) was tenth.

WorldSBK Superpole
Iker Lecuona (Aruba.It Racing – Ducati) secured his second career WorldSBK pole position, but his first as a Ducati rider, with a 1’27.253 lap right at the end of the session. Lecuona achieved this even after running off track at one time, but not crashing. His previous pole position success was gained at Catalunya, way back in 2022.
His own team-mate, and surely champion to be, Nicolo Bulega (Aruba.It Racing – Ducati) had a scare as he did not set a fast lap until very near the end, finishing up second on the grid. This was Bulega’s first weekend of the year where he was not on pole for the start of Race One.
Local Independent rider, Alberto Surra (Motocorsa Racing Ducati) gave his Lombardy-based team a strong third place result to celebrate pre-race. He had been third in FP3 earlier in the day, having broken the record before Lecuona improved it in Superpole.
Sam Lowes (ELF Marc VDS Racing Team Ducati) was fourth, even with a last lap crash spoiling things a little, with Yari Montella (Barni Spark Racing Team) fifth and Lorenzo Baldassarri (Team GoEleven Ducati) sixth.
Alex Lowes (bimota by Kawasaki Racing Team) was the first non-Ducati rider in the rankings, in seventh position for a third row start. Garrett Gerloff (Kawasaki WorldSBK Team) in eighth position, and Miguel Oliveira (ROKiT BMW Motorrad WorldSBK Team) one place behind made at least the third row a very cosmopolitan place to be.
The top ten was rounded out by yet another Ducati, from Tommy Bridewell (Superbike Advocates Ducati), with the first of the Yamaha riders being Remy Gardner (GYTR GRT Yamaha WorldSBK Team) in 11th position.

Friday WorldSBK
With WorldSBK Superpole qualifying still to come on Saturday, the combined Friday Free Practice times for the tenth round at Cremona saw two factory Ducatis out front again, but this time around it was Iker Lecuona (Aruba.It Racing – Ducati) ahead of Nicolo Bulega (Aruba.It Racing – Ducati) – who fell twice on Friday.
Third fastest on day one was local rider Alberto Surra (Motocorsa Racing Ducati).
Another local bike, team and rider combination saw Lorenzo Baldassarri (Team GoEleven Ducati) fourth.
Sam Lowes (ELF Marc VDS Racing Team Ducati) placed fifth across both the Friday sessions, with Friday faller Yari Montella (Barni Spark Racing Team)
sixth.
Tommy Bridewell (Superbike Advocates Ducati) was seventh, making it an unmissable clean sweep of Ducati riders at the very top of the Friday times.
The first non-Panigale rider proved to be Garrett Gerloff (Kawasaki WorldSBK Team) in eighth place, with Miguel Oliveira (ROKiT BMW Motorrad WorldSBK Team) ninth and Alex Lowes (bimota by Kawasaki Racing Team) tenth. Lowes did not set a time in the second session, after a crash, so had to rely on his morning time for his best single lap.

Friday WorldSSP
Mercurial talent Jeremy Alcoba (Kawasaki WorldSSP Team) had his best ever WorldSSP Superpole session at his soon-to-be ex-team’s home round, leading the field just a few days after finding out he would not be retained for the 2027 season.
The Spanish rider, with three podium finishes to his credit in the past two seasons, was 0.057 seconds ahead of championship leader, Albert Arenas (AS Racing Yamaha), and 0.171 seconds up on local star, Filippo Farioli (VFT Racing Team Yamaha).
Alcoba’s 1’31.259 was a new track best at the tight and twisty Cremona Circuit.
Jaume Masia (Orelac Racing Verdnatura) who will be a Kawasaki rider next season, was fourth in Superpole, with another Ducati rider, Alessandro Zaccone (Ecosantagata Althea Racing Team) fifth. Can Öncü (Pata Yamaha Ten Kate Racing) had a tricky opening day but ended up sixth, for a second row start to Race One.
Ondrej Vostatek (Compos Racing Triumph) was a confident seventh, with the normally more competitive Valentin Debise (ZXMOTO Factory Evan Bros Racing) in eighth place.
Tom Booth-Amos (Triumph Factory Racing) placed ninth on the grid, and Matteo Ferrari (WRP Racing Ducati) rounded out the pre-race top ten.

Friday WorldSBP
Carter Thompson (Team BrCorse Yamaha) secured pole position on day one of the Cremona race weekend, setting a new track best for the WorldSPB class with a 1’35.746 – beating his own previous best lap, set in FP1.
He was 0.229 seconds faster than David Salvador (ProDina Kawasaki), with Fenton Seabright (PHR Performance Triumph) third quickest.
Xavi Artigas (MTM Kawasaki) was fourth fastest in the dry and warm Superpole session, with Marco Gaggi (Team BrCorse Yamaha) fifth and Harrison Dessoy (PHR Performance Triumph) sixth.
Alvaro Fuertes (Deza-Box 77 Racing Team Kawasaki) was seventh, ahead of the second MTM Kawasaki rider, Loris Veneman.
Top Suzuki rider was Ferre Fleerackers (Track & Trades Wixx Racing Suzuki), while Jose Osuna (Deza-Box 77 Racing Team Kawasaki) rounded out the top ten – and was the first rider to finish more than a second from the leading pace of Thompson.
