Elkhart Lake, WI (August 7, 2026) — The future of American motorcycle road racing took center stage today at the iconic Road America Briggs & Stratton Motorplex for the first day of the 2026 MotoAmerica Mission Mini Cup National Championship Final.

Designed specifically as the premier launchpad for aspiring road racers starting as young as six years old, the Mini Cup serves as a critical first step on the path toward developing North American talent for the global stage. Competitors across all five championship classes — Stock 50, Stock 110, GP 110, GP 160, and GP 190 — took to the track for their first laps of the weekend.

The morning sessions (Practice 1 and 2) took place on the clockwise Layout A, while the afternoon sessions (Practice 3 and 4) saw the field tackle the challenging, counterclockwise Layout B. The pressure will only mount as the weekend progresses: Saturday will feature qualifying and races on Layout A, while Sunday shifts the circuit to Layout B for another full day with qualifying and races.

Jase Dill GP 190 2026 MotoAmerica Mini Cup National Final — **Jase Dill (#97) looked strong in both layouts.**

GP 190: The Pace Was Set by Jase

The GP 190 class (ages 10-14), featuring riders on Ohvale GP-2 190 motorcycles, delivered the day’s fastest lap times.

In Practice 1, Connor Raymond (Raymond Racing), of Schwenksville, Pennsylvania, set the early pace on Layout A, leading the session overall with a 56.691 on the 0.700-mile kart track. However, as rubber was laid down on the track, Jase Dill (Ohvale USA) found his stride. Dill topped the sheets in Practice 2 on Layout A with a 55.015, before absolutely dominating the afternoon on Layout B. Dill posted a 52.652 in Practice 3 and lowered the benchmark to an incredible 51.832 in Practice 4. Raymond remained close behind, finishing as runner-up in Practices 2, 3, and 4.

Zaal Farhand GP 160 2026 MotoAmerica Mini Cup National Final — **Zaal Farhand (#98) hoped to repeat his success from 2025 at this year’s final.**

GP 160: Zaal Farhand Commands a Flawless Sweep

In the GP 160 class (ages 10-14), Zaal Farhand (Gridline 84) of Thousand Oaks, California, put on a riding clinic aboard his Ohvale GP-0 160 EVO. Farhand was the only rider in his class to top every single practice session on Friday.

Layout A (Clockwise): Farhand opened the morning with a 1:01.865 in Practice 1 and chopped off four seconds to lead Practice 2 with a 57.854.

Layout B (Counterclockwise): Switching direction did nothing to slow Farhand down. He logged a 56.227 in Practice 3 before recording a blistering 54.648 in Practice 4.

Lambert Su of Apex Racing emerged as Farhand’s primary threat on Layout B, claiming the second spot in both afternoon sessions with a best lap of 55.145 in Practice 4.

Cruise Texter GP 110 left 2026 MotoAmerica Mini Cup National Final — **Cruise Texter led in both the Stock 110 and GP 110 classes.**

GP 110: Cruise Texter and Cole Schannen Raise the Bar

The GP 110 class (ages 8-12), riding 110cc four-stroke Ohvale motorcycles, saw a spectacular duel between Cruise Texter (CTR / Roof System) of Willow Street, Pennsylvania and Cole Schannen (CS18 Racing) of New Palestine, Indiana.

On Layout A, Texter struck first by leading Practice 1 with a 1:03.522. In Practice 2, Schannen answered back for the CS18 Racing Team, claiming the top spot with a swift 1:01.899. When the field swapped to Layout B in the afternoon, Texter regained control, sweeping both sessions with a 58.634 in Practice 3 and a class-leading 57.855 in Practice 4. Schannen remained hot on his heels, finishing just 0.161 seconds behind Texter in the final practice of the day.

Double-class threat Cruise Texter was the class of the field in the Stock 110 category (ages 8-12) aboard his CTR / Roof Systems Kawasaki KLX 110L.

Texter swept all four practice sessions on Friday, demonstrating his adaptability and skill across both layouts. He recorded a 1:03.911 in Practice 1, a 1:02.974 in Practice 2, a 1:00.365 in Practice 3, and finally broke the sub-1-minute barrier with a 59.645 in Practice 4. Chase Jazikoff of Team Dunlop Elite kept the pressure high, finishing in the runner-up spot in all four sessions.

Marcus Su (#66) and Cooper Jazikoff Stock 50 2026 MotoAmerica Mini Cup National Final — **Marcus Su (#66) and Cooper Jazikoff (#423) pushed the limits, as Jazikoff topped day one.**

Stock 50: The Youngest Stars Fight to the Tenth of a Second

The Stock 50 class (ages 6-8), featuring the youngest racers of the weekend, primarily on Honda CRF50F machines, provided some of the closest and most inspiring action of the day.

Cooper Jazikoff of Team Dunlop Elite and Marcus Su of Apex Racing traded blows throughout the day. Jazikoff swept the clockwise Layout A sessions, topping Practice 1 with a 1:17.474 and Practice 2 with a 1:11.975. In the afternoon on Layout B, Su fought back, claiming the top spot in Practice 3 with a 1:09.911. In the final Practice 4 session, Jazikoff responded by retaking the lead with a day-best 1:08.553 to edge out Su’s 1:09.026.

The 2026 MotoAmerica Mission Mini Cup National Final will be featured on MotoAmerica Live+ with live streaming and video on-demand coverage of Saturday and Sunday races, with commentary from MotoAmerica Live+ hosts Roger Hayden and Jamie Howe.
