Red Bull KTM Factory Racing’s Josep Garcia dominated on his home turf at round two of the 2026 FIM EnduroGP World Championship, held May 2-3, winning both overall titles at the GP of Spain in Oliana. Supported by enthusiastic local fans, Garcia led in both the overall and class categories on both days, extending his championship advantage.

Garcia’s dominance included winning Friday night’s Super Test, posting the fastest time of the evening by nearly one second. The Spaniard went head-to-head with teammate Andrea Verona in the final battle of the night.
On day one, Garcia had room to spare at the finish line, finishing 44 seconds ahead of his nearest competitor, Sherco’s Hamish Macdonald of New Zealand, who was just two seconds ahead of Verona. TM’s Zach Pichon and Honda rider Samuele Bernardini rounded out the top five overall. Garcia was also the Enduro1-class winner, while Macdonald topped Enduro2.
Garcia was untouchable on day two, as well, finishing the day nearly 40 seconds ahead of his teammate Verona, who topped Enduro2. Pichon was a distant third, with Husqvarna rider Axel Semb of Sweden fourth and Sherco’s Steve Holcombe of Great Britain in fifth.
After two rounds, Garcia leads the EnduroGP Championship with 75 points, followed by Verona on 64, and Pichon on 45.
“It’s been a perfect weekend for me—fastest on Friday, the win on Saturday, and another win today,” Garcia said on Sunday. “To take another victory in both the overall and Enduro1 is an incredible feeling, especially here at my home round. I felt good on the bike all weekend and was able to make the most difference in the enduro test, which helped me manage the rest of the day. Everything came together perfectly, and I enjoyed the racing.”

“It’s been a positive weekend,” Verona said. “Finishing second overall and taking the win in Enduro2 is a strong result for the championship. I felt fast and comfortable on the bike, even if I was missing a little bit of flow in the enduro test, similar to yesterday. I also had a small crash on the final lap, which didn’t help, but overall, I’m happy with my performance. The conditions were really tough all weekend.” CN
