Electric off-road manufacturer Stark Future has launched a charity auction of one-off and rare motorsports memorabilia to support MotoTerapia, an initiative that uses motorcycles to create meaningful experiences for people living with illness or disabilities.

According to Stark Future, 100 percent of the proceeds will go directly to MotoTerapia.
MotoTerapia was founded by Italian freestyle motocross rider Vanni Oddera and the current initiative was put together by MotoTerapia ambassador Antonio Navas.
Here’s MotoTerapia described by the organization:
Motorcycles as Therapy
The use of motorcycles in therapeutic settings has proven to be an effective tool for improving people’s physical and emotional well-being. A recent study published in the European Journal of Integrative Medicine confirms that motorcycle therapy is not just a recreational activity, but a complementary therapy with tangible benefits for the psychophysical health of participants and their families.
Research in the field of neurorehabilitation has shown that intense sensory experiences, such as the movement and vibration generated by a motorcycle, can stimulate the nervous system and improve motor coordination, balance, and proprioception. Furthermore, the release of endorphins and adrenaline during the activity helps reduce anxiety and stress levels, promoting a lasting sense of well-being.
Studies in applied psychology also indicate that interaction with the riders and the environment of motorcycle therapy strengthens the self-esteem and confidence of participants, especially children with motor disabilities or people in recovery. This therapy reinforces the bond with their social and family environment, providing a positive impact not only on the individual but also on those who accompany them.
To achieve these results, it is essential to have a highly trained team, skilled not only in motocross but also in the emotional and therapeutic management of the activity. The combination of talent, experience, and charisma of the professionals involved ensures that each mototherapy session is an enriching and transformative experience, boosting the physical and emotional progress of the participants.
