The FIM World Supercross Championship announced their 2026 calendar which includes five different rounds on five different continents. The series starts on August 8th in Calgary, Canada at a new venue in McMahon Stadium before heading back to Birmingham in the United Kingdom for the British GP at Alexander Stadium on October 10th. This is the largest sports stadium in the United Kingdom with a capacity of 18,000 fans. Round three heads to Argentina for the Buenos Aires City GP on October 24 at the Oscar and Juan Gálvez Car Racing Track, the same venue as last year. From South America, the series heads to Australia for round four at the Cbus Super Stadium on November, 21 before wrapping up round five in South Africa. No venue or date has been confirmed for the South Africa finale. The series also says there is “a sixth GP to come” and that the “sixth round will be announced at a later date”.

“This announcement is the next step in building our biggest season yet,” said Tom Burwell, CEO of World Supercross. “Returning to strong markets like Canada, Argentina, South Africa and Australia highlights how these GPs have grown year on year, while bringing the championship back to the UK is something fans have been asking for. With another round still to be revealed, there is even more to come.”
“World Supercross continues to demonstrate its global ambition and elite standard of racing,” said Antonio Alia Portela, FIM Motocross Commission Director. “The 2026 calendar announced so far reflects a strong balance of established markets and world-class destinations, and we look forward to seeing the full calendar confirmed soon.”
Last year’s WSX series brought some exciting racing to new venues around the world with riders like Eli Tomac, Ken Roczen, and Haiden Deegan taking part in the action. Jason Anderson and Max Anstie both clinched their respective championships but there is no news yet as to which teams and riders will be competing in this year’s fight.
